Andy MacDougall has made an absolute gem of a tune. It’s the kind of track that, if you had to make it something, would be a rum-laced cocktail at a Miami pool party (surely the kind of thing that puts a smile on the face of most of us).

I know that such awesome sun-kissed times are a wee bit away for most of us but – if you can – put your mind there and have a listen to this hypnotic haunting beauty of a track and the two brilliant remixes from Rene Amesz (sounds like an amazing KenLou record) and Dennis Cruz (the best deep jam I’ve heard so far this year).

ATLANT continues at pace by bringing you a 4 tracker from Tel Aviv’s Ran Salman.

Spiritual lead track ‘Through The Woods’ is a mesmerising percussive opus with a driving melody and wailing shaman-like vocal that heals the soul, and replenishes your energy ready for a night dancing under the stars.

The bonus stripped down version provides added dimension with even greater emphasis on the mesmerising vocal sample and rising beats, as the tension builds to a warm percussive crescendo, before drawing you back in.

‘Sahara’ features instrumentation from Yaron Reuveni in a dramatic musical journey evoking distant dreams of a hot shimmering desert sunset. This modal meditation in eastern scales is embelished by hynotic percussion and a vibrant groove that generates subtle momentum, like ever shifting sands.

Closing cut ‘Destination’ takes ATL013 deeper into the night and firmly onto the club floor with a rich addictive acid groove that will leave you wanting more.

These tracks have been supported and played out live by ATLANT label owner BOg in South America and Europe. We are so happy to finally be able to share this music with you. 2018 promises to be an 
exciting year!

Tel Aviv based Ran Salman is a Live Act, DJ and Producer who starting as a producing duo, under the alias ‘Eastern Spirit’. Ran’s solo career has evolved and matured to show a broad range of influences as he created his very own style.

Arrangements of spherical melodies and edgy elements, combined with oriental influences from his home country lets Ran express his thoughts and emotions through analog synthesizers, drum machines, bass guitar and his own voice.

Ran Salman consistently released music on the likes of Steyoyoke Black Label, The Soundgarden, Click Records Amsterdam, Einmusika / EIN2 and Definition:Music.
