A firm favourite in the Hot Creations camp, Jey Kurmis is back on board the label following his recent ‘Kari EP’ with another killer release in the form of the ‘Not Too Flabbeh’ EP. The release features two-standout originals, with a heavy duty re-edit of a third original from label boss Jamie Jones.

'Not too Flabbeh' features Belgium producers Nukov & Yelmet, creating a bona fide ‘hit!’ complete with tongue in cheek, catchy vocals, rolling bass, and infectious groove, it’s a winner! Jamie Jones steps up again, this time to do a reedit of 'Farno, a four to the floor edgy killer. Last up is ‘Monkle’ with its tripped vocals and old school stabs!

Having honed his production skills for seven years, Jey Kurmis is really starting to see the fruits of his labour. His career has steadily been on the rise from his first release on Phobic Records to his artist defining EP for Hot Creations last year, and particularly since he joined the NGE Agency. Other productions can be found on the likes of VIVa Music, Resonance Records and Wow! Recordings with wide support including Heidi, Jamie Jones, Claude Von Stroke & Skream.

Jamie Jones’ revered label Hot Creations is back with another hotly-anticipated EP. ‘Wobble Talk’ comes courtesy of Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato and features Sasha Brown.

‘Talk On’ featuring Sasha Brown displays Barato’s skill at building and releasing the pressure. Opening with rattling percussion and hi-hats, a rumbling bassline kicks in whilst the echoing, chopped-up samples of Sasha’s vocals are teased in and out. Two breakdowns build tensions until the full vocals become more evident and recognisable, the refrain of ‘Talk To Me Baby’ repeating until that rumbling bassline kicks back in.
‘Wobble Back’ is a more straightforward affair. A low-pitched ‘wobbling’ synth melody over the top of skipping hi-hats and a thumping bass forms the backbone of the track, whilst various samples and sounds echo in and out. A sparse breakdown towards the end of the track gives the track an extra punch when the bassline kicks back in.

Nathan’s profile has been rapidly rising of late, with previous releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved and Circus Records as well as house stalwarts Defected. His worldwide touring schedule has been gathering pace, not just across his native Canada and the US, but also in Ibiza – he played Paradise, Do Not Sleep and Music On this season – and major events and venues across Europe; ADE, We Are FSTVL and The Warehouse Project to name a few.

Oh yes, SNOE has reached its 10th release, and is celebrating with four big bangs! The release is the first in the V.A. series called “SNOEflakes”, which is a 4 track groove monster consisting of tracks from both well-known and new artists, the key is fatness. DJ Raid is back, this time with his buddy DJ Fronter. In „Everything Has Its Own Groove“ they have cooked together an incredibly addicting track with a kicking bassline and driving groove. As newcomer on the label, Ucha has joined the crew with the second track. “Flash Mob Attacks” only goes upwards and forwards. It kicks in with snappy percussions and drum loops, combined with intoxicating sounds where you can’t stand still. The third track comes from labelfriends Luigi Rocca and Manuel De La Mare. With "Samsara"  they add to the mixture a powerful, dark, and technoid heavyweight immediately recognized by its magnificent synth. Number four is the incredibly charming “7 Days” by mr. Whoami. It is a track that strikes a groove right away. You just want to move when it is rolling over the dancefloor with a fun and funky vibe, really making the release a bowl of candy with a special treat for everyone’s taste. Dorade is back on Formatik Records again! After his debut release on the label in 2k15 the man behind this project, who prefers to remain unnamed and let the music do the talking, serves two box fresh bits on this single which are about dancefloors throughout the next months.
With the title track Jackmac we see Dorade introducing heaps of Funk and discoid grooves to TechHouse floors, playing around with significant cowbell heavens whilst sending crowds to ecstatic heavens with a reminiscence to the legendary 'Renegade Master'. Exactly our kind of ill behaviour. 
The second tune on this brand new single is Argonoid, another highly effective primetime weapon. Adam Stacks hails from Mannheim, Germany, and is relatively new to the music production scene, yet has launched with a bang, and his music is supported by DJs of the techno and house scene like Maya Jayne Coles, Dirty Doering, Slam, AKA AKA, DJ Shir Khan and Olivier Schories to name a few.

Here, his Mindset EP starts with 'Loving You', and this sunshine kissed summer gem oozes warmth from the off. Piano lines, big pads and the vocal gel wonderfully in a big smile inducing cuddle of a track. Ibiza anybody?

Neferiel is up first on remix duties, with his previous work on LOKD, Traum Schallplatten, as well as Adam Stacks Beans & Bacon imprint made him perfectly suited for the job. This remix utilises the subtleness of the original, but takes us deeper, with an air of restrain caressing this tasty rework

The second original track 'Campanula' is next, and its a bit of a biggie, with its powerful synths creating an uplifting, yet slightly melancholic edged chord pattern with descending riff that is full of emotion. 

And remixing Campanula we have Beatamines, whos work on Einmusika, Great Stuff and Click has been causing a fuss. This remix takes things gritter and phatter, with its tougher reinterpretation that works nicely on the package giving an alternative slant.
