Harrison BDP’s carefully curated and otherworldly approach to dance music is unmatched. Time spent in his countryside home in South Wales has given way to some of his most playful yet thought-provoking work to date. Now the Welsh DJ and producer debuts on MÖRK, combining elements of classic house styles and futuristic soundscapes - locking listeners in a voyage you’ll never want to end. 

Title track ‘Stand Your Ground’ is a seasoned helping of vintage BDP. Rolling snares lock eyes with sprawling acid leads and non-material aesthetics, while the track's foundation comes from the warm, skippy bassline from which every other element answers to. ‘All That’s On My Mind’ spans nine minutes of enhancement, as dense grooves cross paths with rays of sunshine that melt between the trees. Dreamy vocals ascent above the emerald forest acting as our guide. 

‘I Thought I Would Be Different But I Feel The Same’ the title of a track many of us can relate to, is a self reflective piece perfect for late-night strolls and early morning observation, before the record comes to a close with ‘I Made A New Friend Today’. Aquatic synths soar above a stripped back groove, oozing optimism and class, all the while still shrouded in the mystery and depth we’ve come to expect from one of electronic music's most consistent producers.

Sam Suffit steps into the misty Gargaroche Forest of Music, where species of different genres live in harmony and peace, and showcases his mastery of sound. Stomping with old-school funk vibes, as the name suggests, he blends a strong tech-house influence with the right vocal cuts that contribute to the landscape Sam creates in both 'Ghetto Funk Versions' and the dreamy, almost summerish Detroit stomper 'Booty Clap,' once again using the perfect vocals to create that authentic feeling we all crave at a party.

Remixes come from the experienced and well-known Berlin-based David Delgado, known for his cutting-edge minimal style and a regular at CDV, Berlin, under his party brand Meltdown. To finish off the release, Void Bloom delivers a peak-time old-school tech banger, rounding out this 5-track package.

Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this second album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tell a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.




Brique Rouge label is a pillar of the French House underground since 1999.

The label continues to disseminate the electronic sound David Duriez believes in, far from formatting and excessive vulgarity. An eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and on vibe above all. Body music, mind music, ass-shaking and head-boggling, Clay Wilson’s third release on The Bunker New York is a dance EP that manages to be both restrained and cacophonous, speaking to his classical training as well as his years as a DJ, producer and sound tech. Since we first met Clay as a new-to-New York City Bunker party regular back in the Public Assembly days, through releasing his earlier music and having him join us at numerous label showcases around the world, we’ve come to know him as an exceptional producer and DJ, an essential part of The Bunker family and a regular fixture in our lineups. This new release is an expression of the deep relationship we’ve all forged through years of raving together - of freaking out to an unreleased track on the dance floor only to find out your friend made it and then getting a crew together to remix it and put it out!

We heard the original of Osho and decided to give it the remix treatment in order to bring out the various dimensions of the track that were percolating in the background. While the original version is subtly shifting with a cascade of rhythm at the forefront, the Jasen Loveland remix acidifies the track by about 420% and in the process adds a punch of darkness that takes the track solidly into late night territory. Derek Plaslaiko’s “oogly boogly” remix delivers on the promise of both oogling AND boogling, and if you can figure out what that means please tell us, but it likely refers to the jangly swing that loosens up Clay’s tight production to great effect. rrao’s contribution to the mix, following up her debut production on the 15 Years of The Bunker compilation in January, is a subtle and weird version with a murmuring vocal amping up the surreal abstraction, a real departure from the original that nonetheless preserves its character.

Nobody was getting out. The rules has been issued and so help him they would be obeyed, even if it meant blowing the whole damn thing down to the ground. Looking outwards from windows, people watched from little rooms as the outside world slowly began to fade and fall away. Day by day the loneliness grew, like a monster in the room. The green spaces in which they'd use to gather, run and dance were now empty and deserted. A few stragglers were left behind but they wouldn't last long. 

Dj Physical is set to release a gorgeous new EP via Deviant Episode. This track is rather aptly titled given the current set of circumstances. This tracks called "Lock Down".

Tom Jarmey blesses us with a delicate electro jam he's calling "T-1000." With feathery pads and colorful flourishes grounded by a heavy rhythm and slippery bass, he builds an impressive and emotional tune. The icing on the cake is a reverb soaked vocal sample and a carefully crafted synth lead. This one is not be missed. Out soon on Lobster Theremin's white label.

Tom Jarmey is an artist whose been bubbling over the past few years with a string of eclectic discs for labels such as 13th Hour & Shadow City & more recently his acclaimed debut album ‘Amber Glass’ via Lobster Theremin’s sister imprint Distant Horizons. His latest outing sees him serve up five weighty broken beat, jungle infused cuts for the Lobster Theremin white label series, delving deep into all things UK rave related.

B-side features one of our favorite cuts on the EP, ‘T-1000’ bringing the tone down slightly, marching percussion and floaty pads merge to create a laid back jam for them early morning sunsets.
