Anyhow Scotland’s most out-there patrons of abstract outsider pop – that’ll be Bearsuit Records – see you are still obsessing about food and have forgotten what’s really important here. Where were we – ah yes Bearsuit Records have unveiled a curio that’s pencilled in for turntable weirdness sometime next year with the news, or should that be the threat, of a newly forged platter from the Moth Poets. This is the uber chilling ‘Ham’s Descent’ sounding like the onset of a last day’s apocalyptic occurrence, all at once stilled, petrified and foreboding, the whirring monochromatic pulsar shimmer tones exacting a sense of grim grinning deathliness and doom dripped unearthliness

It's hard to find words for something as elusively brilliant as this. The band's album has been put out by the very fine Bearsuit Records and for me it's their best release yet.

A wonderfully addictive LP! Off-rail beauty and lovely glitched soundscapes - electronic music at a searingly creative level. If you add this LP to your record collection I’ll buy you a pint and marry your sister.

Repeat listens will reveal a sonic intelligence at work (and play) here that would work wonderfully in a cinematic setting. These guys need to get involved in film music to share their concoctions with a greater audience. Rob Zombie, Danny Boyle, Quentin Tarrentino, Tim Burton… have I got a band for you to compose your next soundtrack!
