The 14th destination on our journey across the musical galaxy takes us to the planet under the control of Anton Lanski. Hailing from Izhevsk, Russia, Anton is an artist we’ve been huge fans of for many years. An Artist that has featured on our shows and mixes for almost as long as we’ve been doing them. He is truly an artist with a unique sound that has been carved out over many years at the top of the game. His productions are deep, Dubby and atmospheric.   

With such a wealth of musical talent at his fingertips, Anton is  able to showcase is talents across multiple fields. Under his Gespleu alias he has releases slow-mo/chill/house records. He is also part of an electonic-pop/ambient band  called Cetranger.

Oh God, we've heard the hang drum so many times, and honestly, the fascination faded quickly. But now comes Oedipa Maas, who really took his time to weave it into his music. He works on his tracks until they carry a real piece of his own experience. In Twin Replica, the hang drum has a kind of renaissance. The way it’s processed and presented feels like the start of a new era of spiritual music, one that doesn’t take itself too seriously and keeps the fun alive.

It’s not widely known that Soble was once a major techno star. After reaching the peak of his career, he chose to slow down and embrace a more downtempo, quieter life. This track is a nod to those intense techno days – a reminder that he can still push boundaries when he wants to, now infused with the emotion and sensitivity of the Latin artist Jesus Soblechero.

Inspired by some late-evening nerd talk with people from Producer Meeting Nürnberg about "Pop Rocks" based House music. I've tried to create my version of the popping sound with Rings from Mutable Instruments. I've then added some more midi clips and sounds with a kind of randomness, to reflect the seemingly random nature of the popping. This is the recording of the first take on improvising an arrangement afterwards.
