Note: For my friends on Sound Cloud who don't speak any french the word phoque (pronounced phuck) in french means a seal. Hence the title of the song in english would be The Blues of A Seal In Alaska. It's the story of a seal in Alaska whose girlfriend leaves him go perform in a circus in the United States and he's got The Blues

This is my version of the classic québécois song originally written by Michel Rivard. The english equivalent when "feelings" are concerned would be a combination of Summertime and House of The Rising Sun as far as immortal songs are concerned.

This is my first collab and it's with Anne Lee. I love her voice.

I wrote this song to describe the catharsis that comes from the sense of total loss in this world, during a time that I would consider a very low point in my life. The strong negative feelings I once felt, the mantra needed to get through the hours when nothing was distracting enough to cope. "The person that broke me can't possibly fix me it's more than we both can afford".

Jamn' my Fender Strat the other day, found some nice chords progression. Built something around it same day, using LogicX on Mac. Unrefined and unpolished playing, guys. Layered bass, rhythm and played impromptu solo over. I dug up the rack from a hard-drive, so this couple years recording comes as-is, no refinments. Contains pure inspiration with the mistakes provided :)   Juss having some fun...  :D

Musically here... I just play what I feel and like, like many. Translating _it_ into the best sound I could do at the moment, hoping to let out some of grooves and vibes boiling my head constantly. Might be messy, bumpy, puzzling, but this is what it is. By design. Crystal Ripples continues my "Impressionism in Music" series. I love to induce and provoke, rather than impose. All for creative listening experience, so we collab, co-create.... Thank you.

Fender Stratocaster finger picking and (slightly) distorted basslines and twangs. Tones are using Line 6 hardware Pod XT. Post Line6 and IK Multimedia Amplitube.  Korg Synths, including Gadget tool Brussels, which solemnly soloing at 0:50. All synths sounds transitions achieved by playing physical knobs on my Arturia controller. All 37 lines of guitars, perc, synth total are assembled in Ableton Live 9 and mastered with IK Multimedia.

To teleport to 60's even faster, when Robert Moog was inventing Model D, I played MiniMoog, Moog Modular (and other synths by Arturia and Korg). Played my blue Fender Strat to signify the times, when Jimi Hendrix was grinding his teeth over his black one. Pushing flowers to the guns with Electronic and Psychedelic Rock is still needed. Imagined all thru my prism of future Deep Disco and Indie Dance vibe. Drums and all prod done in Ableton Live, mastering with IK Multimedia tools.

We Need To Talk About England

The worrying situation for all life on this planet and my personal take on it all is a lack of vision at this most important turning point in human evolutionary history from the leadership at the top throughout the world as we plod on with our human made self perpetuating blinkered destruction, putting profit before planet and seemingly unable to break the cycle, ever since i was a kid back in the 60s i have seen nothing but the same re-vamped political nonsense and corruption at all levels of society with 0 change as we continue to follow and embrace and set further into stone the same visionless materalistic and religious idealistic values which are layered with a thick coating of personal stigmas and bad vibes we put upon each other, which over time have now been engraved and built into our psychological makeup, leaving the true vision and prize lost which is now endagering all life upon the planet and if a fundimental change and shift doesnt happen we will destory the lot on this unique floating paradise oasis garden for all life in the eternal darkness, good food for thought while i hope you enjoy this original and positive fun filled thought provoking electronic alternative rock styled triple track remix and good vibe collaboration featuring the very kewl words and vocals of the very talented Couch King Presents and ENILSounds! Here is a track that has been sitting in my vault for a while. I had the immense pleasure of working with my very talented friend, Nathalie B20, once again. 
This track was done with my sample library, digging through deep down... I have thousands of samples i forget about, this is the kind of music i come up with when i dig and have fun.

We have all experienced those Moments in Time when everything seems to fall into place, allowing us to experience a blissful moment.

When I first heard this beautiful track from Oliver, my guitar sung the melody you can hear in the second part of the track, almost as if it played itself. The harmony in the repeat of that section, only added to this profound feeling.
I also added a bass guitar and some harp, played on my iPad, using an app (Thumbjam) that allows the arpeggio to sound more natural than when a harp sound is played on a keyboard.

We hope you, dear listener may also experience bliss for a few Moments in Time!

Recorded this a couple of years ago - rediscovered it this weekend and added some guitar and mixed it. I liked the positive energy.... so decided to post it- thanks for listening.

Finding our way

Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
