Back again with an another remix from a videogame that has been stuck on my mind in the past few months. There is one part in the song that was improvised (starting from 01.15), otherwise it was too repetitive. It's also my first release coming from my new Desktop setup. Some time was spend getting all my plug-ins to work like they used to. So enjoy my latest work and with more to come along the way.

Gunstar Heroes - Military On The Max-Power (Toni Leys Remix)

I meant to have this one ready to upload along with the main theme, but it ended up taking extra time! 
Oh well, anyway, this theme (also from my personal project) is a theme that plays in a couple of areas.  One is a dark forest in Lurafelle recovering from a fire that nearly eradicated it. Hundreds who were hiding in the woods were killed in the blaze, and a village burned to the ground.  Fifteen years later, and little hints of what happened here remain.
The other is a small city in Bajandrus that was destroyed some years ago (anywhere from fifty to twenty five, depending on who you ask)by giant plants, which ripped through a majority of the buildings, and killed almost everyone before turning to stone.  Beyond these details (which one can see by visiting the place) everything else is murky at best. There are a hundred different stories as to what happened and why, although only one of them is (mostly) true.

Both places are important to the story in their own way, and one of them is visited multiple times.

When I finally decided to go through with the soundtrack and story start to finish (so 2009, before that, it had just been little chunks, and a random song here or there) this was the first song I composed for it, and is very dear to me.
