The Midnight Voyage is an epic journey through the endless realm of electronic music. On the show, you can hear a wide variety of electronic music both old and new, covering a vast array of sub-genres and styles. The main goal of the show is to provide listeners with creative, inspired electronic music in whatever form it may take, whether it makes you wanna get down, freak out, or just close your eyes and let it take you to that special place. The Midnight Voyage features psychedelic and experimental styles of music including trance, techno, breakbeat, drum n bass, house, industrial, downtempo/chillout, post-rock, and everything in between. Also, on the first show of every month, you can catch a live in-studio DJ set from local Knoxville artist Dialectic Sines, who brings the crazy psychedelic sounds that will warp your brain and take you to another dimension! Ohmage grew up in a household that always had reggae playing, in result she found herself mainly listening to dub music in her early years. She went to college for music education and is classically trained with a focus on percussion and bassoon. When she found drum and bass and jungle music in 2004, she immediately fell in love with the familiar yet updated sounds stemming from the music she grew up with. Ohmage began exploring the arts of DJing in 2009 and played her first show soon thereafter. Since then, she has explored the styles of Footwork, Juke, and UK Garage. She has a passion for all things bass, this has led her into the world of music production. Through modern computing and the rich analog sounds of classic hardware, Ohmage has been putting in work producing tunes within the genres she loves while creating a sound of her own.
