Another Meanwhile debutant, the first of two remixes sees Imran Khan’s aptly titled Sunset Mix deliver a cone-melting bass groove that is the perfect stripped back version of the one created by GMJ & Matter in their original versions of Lost On Origin. A heavy beat and whip-cracking percussion add further weight as the multi-layered pads and rich melodic phrasing of the original seeps into Khan’s rework.

Staring out my window today, a gloomy day and it's getting dark earlier and earlier. No sun to pick up the spirit to let me pretend that everything is going to be okay. Tomorrow I will wake up and everything will go back to normal as if that normal was okay - because it wasn't. If I didn't have my music to make me feel whole I couldn't stand it. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
