When I was invited to perform at the Rainbow Serpent Festival I confess I did not know what to expect. What's more, this was my first international festival. I went to Australia without expectations, precisely because of this ingenuity of not knowing what was waiting for me on the other side of the world. But when I stepped on the festival grounds I was sure it would be unique and special in my life. It was 4 days of pure immersion in art, music, knowledge exchanges, listening to good music on all the stages, meeting new and fresh artists that I had never heard about before. Since I was going to perform on the last day of the festival, I had plenty of time to absorb the energy of the place, the energy of the people, the community concept behind it all… I could think of exactly what kind of music I would like to deliver to these people. These people deserved to float on beautiful timbres, to release their souls driven by melodies and elevated feelings. I chose my favorite songs to do this. And I sincerely hope they were as happy as I was in these two hours of music.

He may have originated from the north east of England, but it is the Greater Manchester area of the country in which Daxson concentrates his latest Coldharbour piece. His fanbase continues to cast a wider net on a worldwide scale, so it's only appropriate that he introduces many to "Bexley Square".

Earmarked by Markus Schulz as one of trance's new and exciting talents, his faith was well repaid by Daxson's output in 2018; capped off with his remix of the poignant Dakota track Searching. 

Daxson embarks on what will be an even bigger year with a track embodied by a cool and confident stride; one which is ideal to pop the cork to announce that the party has arrived. He will no doubt ensure that Bexley Square becomes a hub of big musical output for Coldharbour in 2019, and this is quite the start.
