The Story behind...
A woman in her mid-twenties notices something very strange happening to her. Her husband - a simple fisherman - does not return one day from his early morning trip on his fishing boat. She asks the fishermen docked at the harbour for help. Evasively and fearfully, however, they turn their backs on her, and in her helplessness she takes one of the runaway fishermen's boats, not knowing how to steer it. She steers out of the harbour into the open sea, unaware of where her husband might be. Suddenly, the boat's diesel engine goes out and the boat sails shallowly with the current. Beside the waves crashing on the bow, she hears strange voices whispering something to her. "You are a banshee and your husband is cursed. No man who has ever seen a banshee will survive!"

Putting everything into finding her husband, she starts the boat's engine again. Chugging softly at first, then gurgling continuously, it drives her boat further and further away from the shore. Waves as high as houses that never existed in their little fishing village crash up, the sea piles up, rebels with all its might against their advance. The storm is so violent that she holds on to the ropes with all her might. But all that was no use. She was swallowed by a huge wave and thrown into the sea, dragged down into a whirlpool of unconsciousness.

At some point she woke up on a beach that seemed endless. To the right and to the left it seemed to have no end. A small crab dug itself out of the sand at her feet. Lifting her feet to avoid it, she suddenly heard her husband's voice: "I'm long gone!" And there, where just a moment ago the crab was spitting out the little balls of sand, was a skull. It was her husband's. There echoed the words of the stale shells that once spoke to her: "You are a banshee...!"

Since then, she has walked up and down this beach, waiting for her husband to return....

Fallen Angel

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
