Born in Switzerland, Freddy started playing the drums at a tender age of 6. Discovering the world of Hip-hop changed his life, as he delved into rapping, beat-boxing and beat-making intensively. It has always been a personal drive of his to inject that 'old-school' feel into his beats, not only as a tribute to the roots, but also as an approach to bring his sound forward. 
This has been further reinforced by his hunger for discovering more music like Jazz, Funk, Blues etc, and he has benefited tremendously from this attitude. '1960' is a prime example of his spirit - one that is encapsulated in the traditional ways but yet carrying that adventurous vibe at the same time.
