UNDISCLOSED was lucky enough to feature two Eora underground legends at our warehouse rave for UD 42.0, and we now have the pleasure of releasing their incredible, 3-hour B2B set.Kate Doherty has been active in the scene for over 20 years and has rode their continual selection skill and dynamism to great success in support of numerous internationals and top notch parties with their charisma and presence. Kate’s impeccable mixing has been an inspiration to many aspiring selectors and has seen them become a resident of 4our, also playing at other local Sydney parties such as Darkroom, IF?, The House of Mince and Charades.Andrew Wowk, who also produces under his alias End User Licence Agreement, has been active in the Sydney music community for 20 years, and counts amongst his greatest achievements having had at least 20 memes approved in the ‘Worst Techno Memes Ever Page’. Andrew has received international recognition for both his DJing and production, and his prowess has led to him being featured on a number of the most prestigious events throughout Sydney and Australia.Check out their mix which was performed using two turntables, three CDJs, two mixers and a laptop to a resoundingly positive reception.You can catch more of each of these amazing artists here:

Here is a live recording of a set I played at Revolver Upstairs in Naarm/Melbourne on 17th May, 2024. I was playing 5-7am following on from DJ Kiti and leading into Anyo, so I tried to transition from the late night techno session to the early morning house kick-on with my set. 

It was my first time playing at Revolver and I had a blast. Hope you enjoy listening to the mix as much I enjoyed playing the gig. 

FYI: There's a portion of the recording missing due to the batteries in my recorder running out, so I've just faded in and out either side of where it's missing.

Andrew Wowk - Live @ Revolver Upstairs (17/05/2024)

This is a live recording of a set I played on 11/10/2024 for local crew DUNJ. They were hosting Om Unit for the Sydney leg of his Acid Dub Studies live show, and I played the opening set. I decided to select some of my favourite dub and acid influenced music in my collection so that it would be on-theme, but also wouldn't just tread the same ground as Om Unit by playing straight up dub. The fourteenth episode of our podcast series welcomes Paris-based DJ Maemm, co-founder of the collective "La Taquinerie" and a resident DJ at the Parisian club La Gare, Le Gore on Thursdays, with a 60-minute studio recorded mix.

Maemm shapes her sets with various atmospheres, aiming to create immersive journeys rooted in narrative.
Influenced by a hypnotic techno style with sometimes psychedelic overtones, she also draws inspiration from ambient music and more experimental genres. Her passion for exploring new sounds allows her to enrich her musical universe and remain in constant evolution. 
She has shared the stage with renowned artists such as DJ Nobu, GiGi FM, Zadig, or Kerrie and has recently performed at legendary Berghain.

The 59th episode of Schimmer's podcast series was recorded by Berlin-based DJ and promoter Reka Zalan.

Reka is known for hypnotic depths and percussive drives — always tuned to atmosphere and often drawn to the gloomier sides of Techno. Her sets, whether digital or vinyl, move forward, outward, and inward, balancing tension and flow. Deeply rooted in Berlin’s scene, she’s a local Tresor resident, Hard Wax staffer, part of Coppi collective, and former ://elements co-host. Before immersing herself fully into club life, she worked at the Berlin Music Commission. Driven by curiosity and connection, Reka loves building bridges through sound and shared moments.

I found a bunch of old mixes on an external hard drive, and in the interest in showing some of my musical journey of the years, have decided to upload them. 

This particular set was played back in 2013 at DNBBQ, a monthly outdoor drum & bass party we used to have in Sydney run by Foreign Dub. At the time I was quite into the more stirpped-down, techy, rolling sounds of SpectraSoul, Zero T, Skeptical, and so on, which you'll hear a lot of in the mix. There is also a very brief glimpse into my growing interest in half time and more leftfield stuff which was just starting to take shape at the time, and it was not very stylishly shoehorned into the middle of the set.

Andrew Wowk - Live @ DNBBQ (February 9th 2013)

Here is another unearthed recording from a recently found external hard drive. This is recorded live from Chinese Laundry playing the closing set after Photek. At the time I was being heavily inspired by the burgeoning "UK Bass" scene, and really loved how its artists were combining elements of techno, breakbeat, garage, dubstep, and drum & bass in their tracks and sets. 

Photek is of course a legend of drum & bass, but at the time had also been branching out more stylistically, and so I felt this was a great opportunity to try to weave together various sounds and genres inspired by his music. 

The set works its way through techno, breakbeat, dubstep, and drum & bass, trying to pay respects to Photek's history and influence as well as reflect what I was really into at the time.

Andrew Wowk is a DJ, producer, radio host, promoter, and writer who has been active in the Eora (Sydney) electronic music scene for over 20 years. First introduced to dance music culture through work experience at community radio station Rhythm FM at age 16, Andrew exudes a passion for and knowledge of music that is the result of years of experience.

As a DJ, Andrew has earned a reputation for refined technical skills and eclectic track selection. His tastes run the gamut of techno, house, breakbeat, drum & bass and jungle, electro, and leftfield electronica, demonstrating a deep respect for the history of dance music, a love for its present, and excitement about its future. But even with such a wide range of music at his disposal, he finds ways to combine these numerous sounds into a cohesive whole. Often focused more on telling a story or creating a particular feeling with his sets, he regularly moves fluidly across stylistic boundaries, preferring to find other similarities between tracks than just their genre.

His intelligent approach to DJing has led to him playing at some of Sydney and Australia's most well-respected clubs/events, both as a headliner and as a support act for international artists. He has also received international recognition, being invited to play guest sets at Circus Osaka in Japan, DEPTH and Train Car House Party in Seattle, as well as perform on 313.FM in Detroit, WNYU in New York, and provide mixes for Animal Instinct in Berlin, Fnoob Radio, and Error Sessions in the UK.

Outside of club DJing, Andrew also produces music under the alias End User License Agreement, which has been released on labels such as Biotech Recordings, Baroque Recordings, Extra Spicy, Communication Records, Monarch Recordings, and Late Night Music. His remix of Floor Twenty’s “Say My Name” and his original track “Chonk” were both featured in Beatport’s and Juno's best bass music releases from 2021. He also hosts a weekly radio show "Time To Track" on 2SER, regularly writes for both print and online media, and runs events covering the spectrum of underground dance music, featuring previous headliners such as Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Marcus Intalex, Regis, Hodge, Adriana Lopez, Djinn, SNTS, and Nastia Reigel. 

Andrew is passionate about social and political issues and strongly believes in using music as a medium for addressing these issues. Much of the music he loves was originally created in tandem with social, cultural, and political movements, and he believes that contemporary music should also carry a message. To put this into practice, he launched Music For Change, a label which donates 100% of profits from all releases to various charities, alongside Jessica Tassone in 2021. Releases on the label have been supported by international artists such as Dave Clarke, Ani Klang, and Alchemist/Amy Kisnorbo, played on BBC Radio 1, and added to the rotation on local radio stations FBI Radio and 2SER.
