Music For Change is a Gadigal Land/Sydney-based label dedicated to donating 100% of its profits to charity organisations.

Its latest release, 'Adam's Peak EP' by Milenze, the title track of which first appeared on the label's Music For Palestine compilation, is filled to the brim with fast-paced trance and techno.

Gadigal Land/Sydney-based producer Monako, founder of Big Ting Recordings and a member of the much loved Dayshift cohort, has put his spin on the title track, premeired here.

While the original sits as an intense, driving piece of trance, Monako strips it down to its bare essentials here. A focus on progression over 'build' sets it apart from the original in a way that demonstrates Monako's understanding of what makes the best kinds of dancefloors.

100% of the profits from this release will be donated to Farm Transparency Project, a non-profit animal protection charity dedicated to ending the abuse and exploitation of animals in farms, slaughterhouses and other commercial settings.

'Adam's Peak EP' releases this Friday, July 25 as a Beatport exclusive, and via all other platforms on Friday, August 8.

Caspian grew up in Riwaka and now calls Ōtautahi, Aotearoa home. His sound moves through halftime, jungle, and minimal drum and bass - heavy, spacious, and built for deep listening as much as the dancefloor.

Starting with self-releases and local Christchurch label drops, he's since had tracks land on international imprints like Armory, Onset Audio, and Danger Chamber Digital. His latest work, the Contort EP on Takaka's Rooster Records, threads murky halftime grooves with atmospheric jungle and fractured breaks.

On stage, Caspian keeps it personal - sets stacked with his own productions, riding between dense halftime rollers, sharp breaks, and jungle that swells with texture. He's played festivals including Twisted Frequency, Rolling Hertz, Into The Vortex, and Oasis, and has shared the stage with artists like Phace and Particle.

Mark Williams is a veteran that has paid his dues over more than two decades on the scene as a DJ and producer. Since the 80s, when he started his career at UK hot spots like the Ministry of Sound and Final Frontier, he has been laying the groundwork for his future success. 

His production work has also gained him acclaim the world over and he has released a staggering catalogue of quality tracks on some of the most respected techno labels in the world including: Tortured, Dark House, Pure Plastic, Phont, Primate, and Carl Cox’s Ultimate Trax imprint, to name a few. In addition to releasing on other labels, Mark also has his own imprints: Artificial Vinyl, Real Sessions, Macumba and Real Vinyl. Mark has also gained worldwide recognition with his skilful and distinctive DJing style. 

Mixing tribal, tech house and techno on three decks and CDJs, his rocking performances have helped him to develop a strong fan base and facilitated gigs in places like Spain, Turkey, Slovenia, Japan, Brazil, Colombia, Macedonia, and Sweden. His first major tour was in 1998 when Mark was asked to join Carl Cox on his “World Wide Ultimatum Tour.” In 2000, Mark became a resident at a club night called “Damage” in Dublin and later that year he supported Billy Nasty on his “Torture Chamber World Tour.” 2003 found Mark on his first “Ingoma Tour” with Ben Sims which culminated in a now legendary party at the Loft Club, Barcelona, the weekend of Sonar. In 2004, Mark and Ben set out for another tour to promote Mark’s debut album, “A Point in Time” on Ingoma. 2005 was another banner year, with Mark playing at clubs, parties and festivals around the world including a set for more than 40,000 people at the Monegros Festival in Spain. 2005 also saw Mark bringing his sound to radio. The “Concept Show” (www.conceptshow.com) is a monthly broadcast that Mark co-hosts with Macedonian DJ Goran Kan. Some of the past guests have been Mark Broom, Paul Mac, Ben Sims, Cari Lekebusch, Oscar Mulero and DJ Bone. From the studio to the DJ booth, Mark Williams is one of the brightest stars in the world of techno and his list of accomplishments is impressive and ever growing. 

In 2007, Mark has teamed up with Paul Mac to provide a new way of presenting his music using a combination of three turntables, 2 CDJs and a laptop running Ableton. Sou Tai are intending to fuse their customary sounds to create something new and fresh. The addition of Ableton to the standard setup enables the use of custom edits of classics and to be able to drop all manner of surprises into the mix. 

Mark has also found time to create a masterpiece of an album that expresses all the sides of his musicality. His love for tribal, Detroit techno and house music shines through in his album “You can’t hide what you truly feel” (out later this year) for the label Subject Detroit. 

So far Mark has soared to new heights, with Sou Tai closing the Awakenings party in Holland to outstanding reactions from the crowds. With Sou Tai riding high the pair have had some superb gigs such as the one at Spanish super club Fabrik, and Mark has now found himself back playing in much loved Japan

This mix packs in almost 2 hours of every facet of the 160-170 spectrum, from drum & bass, to jungle, autonomic, to juke. Irene J shows his range as a DJ by seamlessly weaving all the flavours of the bass music spectrum throughout his imprint on the series.

Andrew Wowk is a DJ, producer, radio host, promoter, and writer who has been active in the Eora (Sydney) electronic music scene for over 20 years. First introduced to dance music culture through work experience at community radio station Rhythm FM at age 16, Andrew exudes a passion for and knowledge of music that is the result of years of experience.

As a DJ, Andrew has earned a reputation for refined technical skills and eclectic track selection. His tastes run the gamut of techno, house, breakbeat, drum & bass and jungle, electro, and leftfield electronica, demonstrating a deep respect for the history of dance music, a love for its present, and excitement about its future. But even with such a wide range of music at his disposal, he finds ways to combine various sounds into a cohesive whole. Often focused more on telling a story or creating a particular feeling with his sets, he regularly moves fluidly across stylistic boundaries, preferring to find other similarities between tracks than just their genre.

His intelligent approach to DJing has led to him playing at some of Sydney and Australia's most well-respected clubs/events, both as a headliner and as a support act for international artists. He has also received international recognition, being invited to play guest sets at Circus Osaka in Japan, DEPTH and Train Car House Party in Seattle, as well as perform on 313.FM in Detroit, WNYU in New York, and provide mixes for Animal Instinct in Berlin, Fnoob Radio, and Error Sessions in the UK.

Outside of club DJing, Andrew also produces music under the alias End User License Agreement, which has been released on labels such as Biotech Recordings, Baroque Recordings, Extra Spicy, Communication Records, Monarch Recordings, and Late Night Music. His remix of Floor Twenty’s “Say My Name” and his original track “Chonk” were both featured in Beatport’s and Juno's best bass music releases from 2021. He also hosts a weekly radio show "Time To Track" on 2SER, regularly writes for both print and online media, and runs events covering the spectrum of underground dance music, featuring previous headliners such as Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Marcus Intalex, Regis, Hodge, Adriana Lopez, Djinn, SNTS, and Nastia Reigel. 

Andrew is passionate about social and political issues and strongly believes in using music as a medium for addressing these issues. Much of the music he loves was originally created in tandem with social, cultural, and political movements, and he believes that contemporary music should also carry a message. To put this into practice, he launched Music For Change, a label which donates 100% of profits from all releases to various charities, alongside Jessica Tassone in 2021. Releases on the label have been supported by international artists such as Dave Clarke, Ani Klang, and Alchemist/Amy Kisnorbo, played on BBC Radio 1, and added to the rotation on local radio stations FBI Radio and 2SER.
