Involve Records releases its second VA to celebrate ten glorious years since its founding in 2012. After many release featuring the likes of Amelie Lens, FJAAK, Boston 168 and Regal himself, the label now welcomes uprising stars Fractions and legends David Moleon, DJ Ogi and The Geezer. 

First in line is Czech techno duo Fractions with Angel Lust, a stomping rave anthem for big stages, reflecting the sound they’re known for from releases on labels such as Monnom Black and Possession. David Moleon is up next with Hold On, a groovy and rumbling techno cut with housy elements and chopped vocals creeping in between heavy kicks. DJ Ogi follows with Akturianac, an aggressive belter with rolling drums, sounding like it’s coming straight from the early 2000’s. Stay Up Forever and Hydraulix hard techno legend The Geezer follows with an ecstatic and crack-brained melody on his banger track A Word About Your Soul, closing the EP with a bang.

Katrin Wolke - a talented and rising producer & DJane from Poland. Her sets and productions are full of heavy dance party grooves. Professional approach, unique selection as well as frequent use of sounds with an industrial vibe fully describe her style & taste.

She creates tracks on a daily basis, also cooperating with Sichtkontakt, an electronic music producer, in their joint studio in Krakow, Poland. 

Katrin loves to play at a tempo from 145 to 160 BPM, and her
sets are always punchy, wide-ranging, creative & powerful.

More about her career: as far she made an exclusive release in collaboration with Sichtkontakt (two-track single: SAHARA & MISSED THAT) on @Motz - a successful female techno label. After that her
remix of “PZPR” by Berlin-based artist Jemek Jemovit has appeared on Atypeek_Music - an iconic post-punk label from Lyon.

She is “the godmother” of a new and hitting techno platform/digital label/event series called @sheistechno – dedicated - of course, to the ladies' part of the Techno scene around the world.

Katrin is also a co-founder of a local collective & booking agency called Techno WIR.

Her latest project which she runs with Sichtkontakt is the digital label called “Hot Techno Near You
Records” (part of www.technowir.pl), which will feature upcoming productions of her, Sichtkontakt & other Techno WIR members.

Choć, jak sam mówi, od najmłodszych lat związany jest z szeroko rozumianą muzyką elektroniczną to swoją przygodę z miksowaniem rozpoczął pod koniec 2019 roku. Szybkie i energiczne hardgroovy przeplata klasykami techno i hard techno. Ma za sobą kilka występów w nie istniejącej już Gdańskiej Protokulturze,  w lutym ubiegłego roku miał okazje zamknąć czwartkowy FALSTART we Wrocławskim Transformatorze, oraz być częścią lineupu na jednej z imprez od BONHEURTECHNO, a także odpowiedzialny jest za swój autorski cykl podcastów "jadący temat". Welcome to your first strange therapy session. Eight different artists crafted this cruel compilation of eight tracks, for those whose minds wander off into the weird and wicked too far and too often. For those who deserve nothing but a rough treatment.

Operant gives you a cold welcome to the A-side with Cheekbone Element. The threatening, melancholic synthline guides you at a steady pace passed clattering contraptions, while you get injected with a continually increased dose of schizophrenia inducing voices. Restive Plaggona raises the heat with Fire Is The Only Way. The soundtrack of a sacrificial gathering. Ritualistic drums, scorching synths, and distant tribal yells included. Be engulfed by its flaming sounds as you feed the fire and burn away. Unhuman stretches time, space, and minds with Wormhole. This slow but strong track sucks you up with its creeping and crawling arps. Feel the suffocation, hear the heavy breathing and wailing, and get warped into cold, dark, outer space. Violet Poison shoots you straight back to earth with Human Asteroid. A high energy chase of waves with fiery tails, that makes you want to move faster and faster. Yell out, fall down, and feel the rush until your imminent collision marks the end of side A.

Katran provides the first B-side track, Transformation. A thick veil of cold, rumbling noise, pierced by sharp percussive hits that keep on echoing against the insides of your head. You won't realize your mind has been radically reshaped by the sound, until the metallic mist ebbs away. Verset Zero definitely does his dark duty with Cãro. A beautiful, spacious choir blends seamlessly with a rising wall of feedback. Feel the wall crumbling onto you with rhythmic destruction, once it gets the pummeling and pounding distorted-drum-treatment. Shrouds brings in a beast of a track, titled He Raised His Voice, The Earth Melted. A giant, legendary creature cries out his loud, epic, sound from ancient times. The tight but rolling drums carry these roars all across the earth's surface, and far into its depths. Sortsyn gives you the final treatment with Worryor. Starting with words like a witches spell, this tense, flowing soundscape builds up until the hard hitting horror comes in. This one is capable of crushing the last bits of sanity in your soul, perfectly marking the ultimate ending of side B.

Scots born DJ/producer Andrew Moore started off his music career as a camera man and editor for Glasgow based online electronic music magazine eqtv.dj where he filmed and interviewed the best DJs and club nights in Glasgow and around the world. He then started his DJ career after moving to London and working in the city’s underground queer scene putting on his own events.

Since moving to Berlin his career has gone from strength to strength with gigs at renowned clubs Tresor, Watergate, Kantine am Berghain, Griessmuehle, OHM, RSO, Æden, OXI, Club Ost, Hoppetosse, Fiese Remise, IPSE, Anomalie, Renate, House of Weekend, Corsica Studios to name a few and producing and releasing on various labels including BPitch Control and Scale Trax as well as his own show Keep it Hard on Keep it Radio!
