Rewoven Presents 042: Seawayz (Melodic & Deep House Mix)

Hey guys!
Welcome to the first month of summer 2025! I’m excited to share with you Episode 23 of the podcast. Hope your summer is off to a great start and you’ve already made some beach plans!

This month’s episode is a special one. The first half is packed with fresh tunes, some about to be released, others recently dropped on labels like Sekora and UV. Expect deep, immersive vibes to ease you into the mood. The second half takes a nostalgic turn, diving into timeless classics from Pryda – Connexion straight into the legendary (but misnamed) "Pryda – Rage", which is actually a 2006/2007 track by Roman Rage.

You’ll also hear a few of my own productions, both released and unreleased. One I’m especially proud of is “Dandelion”, a new track that started as a rework of Eric’s EDC UK 2016 ID, but evolved into something completely original. Big thanks to my friend OTiS for suggesting I drop in the vocal from Cristoph – SFB, it turned out to be the missing piece.

And finally, a special birthday shoutout to one of my closest friends from my hometown Vladivostok — Happy Birthday, Alexey! Wishing you all the best, King!

Cumulus Sounds - Mix 025 - Benji

This year has been eventful. Started a new job, quit that job, moved, started at a new job, attended five weddings, moved again, travelled to a few countries, spent the night on a dance-floor watching the sun rise (probably more times than one should in one calendar year), and tried to get some sleep when time permitted. I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to dedicate to music this year, but I'm hopeful about where my sound is going. Summer and Fall arrived before I knew it, and I was mostly empty handed when it came to new music I was excited about.

This past week I was asked last minute to play at an event, and my one stipulation was that I got to play what was already on the USBs (more so because I did not have time to go update rekordbox). I record all of my sets just for reference, but I really liked how this turned out. Not peddling any new music, not trying to shove highlights into a 60 minute slot. None of my music actually. Just three hours of music comfort food. And one flub. But that's how you know it's real!
