Empty Streets was first recorded by the band that I am in Late Night Alumni (yes, I am also in a band).  It was an instant classic and was played in clubs around the world.  But it was a really difficult track to find and buy.  So for my last album DYNASTY I re-recorded it and put a new version out.  Since that was a bit more chill I needed a fresh club mix while touring for DYNASTY.  Then came along my homey Digital LAB who sent me this amped up version of "Louder Than Words".  I loved it and later got the idea to lay the "Empty Streets" vocal on top.

Having enjoyed an outstanding year, Alesso certainly isn’t resting on his laurels as it starts to draw to a close. Following the release of huge vocal anthems ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’ with Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder and ‘Years’ featuring Matthew Koma, the young Swede is going solo and honing his focus directly on the club with blazing new single ‘Clash’.

At just 21 years old, Alesso has quickly established himself as one of the most fresh and exciting talents of the EDM world, and with a flourishing back catalogue of club and chart hits already to his name and a reputation as a DJ that precedes him, this is clearly only the start for the supremely talented young DJ and producer.
