When the original of Friend came out, it was one of the coolest tracks I'd heard in awhile. I loved how much fun the vibe was, plus the almost passive aggressive lyrics about cutting a toxic person out of your life. So when @FRNDmusic reached out asking me to remix the track, it was a no brainer. Being out on tour this fall, I was super inspired to make a hard hitting version of the song that would work in my live shows. Staying true to the original, I kept a lot of the parts and blew everything else up 10 fold for a big fat remix that I hope is just as much fun as the original.
