Right then! It's been quite a while since my last mix and this is something a bit different! 

Psytrance was the genre which first got me into electronic music and it's been fun dipping back into it to put this together. I call it the 'psy wobbler' as i made it for the ever-wibbly Wobbly Records (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wobbly-Records)

I hope I've brought something a little bit different to the burgeoning bulge of psytrance mixes and there are absolutely NO triplet drops thankyouverymuch. I hope you enjoy :)

OLIN (named after the Mayan Goddess of Movement/Earthquakes) is the creative alter-ego of Perth DJane Kelsie Cat.

Brought up in the forests of Tasmania, Owen Braddock grew up in a house that had a HiFi system in the place of TV, which turned all his attention towards sound, music & how sonic frequencies interacted with the world around him.
Early in 2014, deep in the kiwi mountains a friend gave the now dance music obsessed Owen an intro into mixing music on a set of Pioneer cdjs, and Monkey Paws was born. That April he moved to Melbourne, where his love of high quality dance music led him to the Progressive & Techno collective Groovement Productions & playing his debut set at their 'Funky Freak Show' before Maxi Basshead that July.
In 2015 the Monkey created The Rebel Collective with Melbourne born producer, Skwid as an independent platform/label to host events & promote music they both love & create.
Throughout the time he spent living in Melbourne the Monkey refined his psychedelic blend of driving progressive grooves playing at numerous well renowned events & club nights hosted by crews such as Yemaya Festival, Beyond Surreal, BFG Sound-System, Contact High, Rebel Collective, Ergot Radio, Counter Culture, Intergalactic, Groovement Productions, Versus & Sand Tribe throughout Victoria. His sound reached the right ears across in New Zealand & after coming over to play at festivals such as Infinite One, Discombobulation, Twisted Frequency, Golden Bass, Cymatics & Ponies he left Australia & settled in the South Island of NZ.
