A song written just after the death of my children's favourite grandma.
She lived in France and she was the greatest Beatles fan and greatest Grandmother ever. That's the reason for the Penny Lane reference in the song.
I remember being dumbfounded and staring at some of her jewelry... and at the same time listening to all her grandchildren playing in her beautiful garden...
Some of them were my kids, and I had no idea how to help them in their loss and sorrow.
