This is 4-channel, cosmic, experimental techno mixed specially for the Boshke Beats podcast by a true pioneer of psychedelic dance music from Australia - ANDREW TILL (Machine Label). With a career spanning over 32 years, Andrew Till is one of few players with a stake in, not only the establishment, but the defining of electronic music in Australia. If ever the term “pioneer” was to be thrown around, it might well be thrown at Andrew Till. And it would stick. Amidst a budding club and rave culture, Andrew Till was amongst the first delivering the new dawn in clubs and at the outdoor parties we all know so well these days. First as DJ and event organizer, then as co-founder of Australia’s first and most influential electronic label, Psy-Harmonics, which burst onto the scene in 1993 and would quickly thrust Till and partner Ollie Olsen onto the world stage, riding at the crest of a new wave of electronica. For the next 16 years this label would offer up countless gems, to cement a timeless place in the worldwide pantheon of dance music. In 2009 a new wave surged. Machine Label is the new kid on the block, the techno lovechild, spawned by the club of the same name. Machine is the current driving undercurrent of Andrew Till’s techno fame. Machine has become the flag bearer for a procession of burgeoning new talent from Australia and abroad.

From there we collaborated on many other projects during the Cyberthon: The Reconnaissance Unit 1990-95 period and beyond for TVU / RMITV/ Channel 31 / UHF 31, plus a whole heap of gigs, parties, clubs, raves, festivals ..etc

Hypnobombia is a Helsinki based, techno-centric ensemble formed by Valo Elios   and Jaakko Huotari, whose focus is on love for techno music. Since their founding in 2016, the duo has channeled their 20+ years of techno experience into crafting a unique sound that marries the intensity of night-time techno with lighter, more ethereal elements. Their music is known for its rich layers of darkness, humidity, and relentless groove.

Their tracks are distinguished by small, crunchy details that create a sense of suspense, evoking the sensation of thin ice cracking during a storm. They build subliminal, almost scientific atmospheres with a perfectly swinging groove, while their rolling drums—lift the beat as if it were airborne. Psy-Harmonics burst onto the scene in 1993 and would quickly thrust Till and partner Ollie Olsen onto the world stage, riding at the crest of a new wave of electronica that would crash far beyond our shores. As a dj, and repertoire manager, Andrew success marks him as elite. His legacy has earned a legion of fans the world over. Launching from hometown Melbourne, with a tour schedule throughout Japan, Europe, USA and South Africa.
Andrew Till is known for being an innovator: a stylist whose sets are part conjuring act, part act of persuasion: a composite of timing and compositional balance. He mesmerizes with beautifully realized structure and broadens horizons with his call to war: the tension of being swept up in the familiar, and dropped into the unknown.
