In the realm of techno, it's been a substantial hiatus since the dynamic duo of Petar Dundov and Gregor Tresher came up with a new original release. Throughout the past decade, these titans of electronic music have consistently delivered their sonic creations via esteemed labels such as Music Man, Cocoon, GTO, Break New Soil, Mood, and Sci+Tec, among others. But the long wait has drawn to a close, and this time, they've unleashed quite a huge package that's bound to make waves!

Prepare yourself for four fresh and original productions, all under the banner of Petar Dundov's very own Neumatik Recordings. Once again, this release underscores the breathtaking diversity that the duo can conjure. The lead track, "Palantir," is nothing short of an inferno on the dancefloor. Whether you find yourself in the depths of dimly lit warehouses pulsating with strobe lights, sweating it out in the heart of a packed club, or amidst the colossal stages of a festival, the hypnotic vibes of this track steadily build, ensnaring you in its irresistible groove. Then there's "Der Kleine Morgen." Words can scarcely do justice to the magic woven into this track; you'll find that the music speaks volumes on its own. "The Way" is a sonic masterpiece, a multi-layered composition that truly reveals its enchantment when played in the perfect place and at the ideal time. Lastly, "Rapids" is a slow-burning, emotionally charged journey that conjures images of a sunrise over a sea of unified dancers.

Der Kleine Morgen

After six inimitable EPs ranging from blissful pop to slow burning house, Frank&Tony, aka Francis Harris and Anthony Collins, the creative force behind the boutique label Scissor and Thread, break new ground once again with their debut full length, "You Go Girl.” Reflecting the spellbinding vibe of their monthly "Punch Drunk Love" residency in The Panther Room at Brooklyn’s Output, “You Go Girl,” marks the duo's turn from their pop-driven work with proteges Bob Moses towards a grittier, analogue, club-centric approach. The result is an enduring slice of true dance floor magic that nods to Basic Channel, Detroit and New York house while rolling along effortlessly for nearly an hour. Highlights include "Bring the Sun," an achingly elegant ode to lost love sung by frequent label contributor Gry Bagøien, as well as the catchy house roller “Resistance,” which features Jason Poranski of Beirut. The November 17th digital release of the album is to be preceded by a three part vinyl version, (the individually titled “You,” “Go,” and “Girl,” EPs are due October 20th, November 3rd and November 17th, respectively,) with an alternate track list heavy on DJ-friendly dubs and exclusives including the sprawling thirteen minute, “Companion,” a collaboration with DJ Sprinkles that has the indescribable feel of an instant classic.
