March 2014 marked a very proud moment for the incredibly talented Nikoleta Frajkorova. Regarded as one of the best female DJs and producers in our scene today, the spotlight shone throughout her performance in her home country of Slovakia, as the Transmission extravaganza travelled outside of Prague for the first time. It was due reward for her ascension through the ranks, yielding previous anthems such as Ready and Dark Harbour. At Transmission, Nifra's latest weapon was unveiled.

Having shared that Transmission stage with Coldharbour boss Markus Schulz, and following it up with an appearance alongside Paul van Dyk, demand for Nifra's talents continues to increase. Athena has certainly aided her rapport, adding another Coldharbour peak-time anthem to the library. Supported by Markus throughout his Scream 2 Bus Tour and beyond, the track's melody strikes an addictive effect, complimented with a bassline that means business.

Astral Records opens the summer season by welcoming Paul Angelo and Don Argento back to the label for a new EP. With a career that spans the better part of a decade, Cyprus based duo Paul and Don have achieved measurable success, taking their melodic sound to influential imprints such as Awen Records, Clubsonica, Movement Recordings, Sound Avenue, Timeless Moment and more. Astral Records has also served as landing spot for the talented act, with the duo's 'Icarus' EP marking their label debut in 2021, a well-received release which would lead to a 2022 appearance as part of the Celestial, Pt. 2 collection. Now, following a single for Paul Thomas' UV Noir to begin the year, Paul and Don return to Astral Records with the much-anticipated 'Helios'.

Beginning with 'Helios' Paul and Don masterfully synthesize their talents into one singular cosmic vision. Welcome to the monthly World Tour edition of the Global DJ Broadcast, where Markus Schulz packs you in his suitcase and takes you on the road for company, bringing a live recording of one of his recent live sets. It's a familiar stop on the World Tour map, and with good reason, as Markus provides a signature open to close solo set for The Gallery's 23rd birthday celebrations, coinciding with their 10 years of Friday nights at Ministry of Sound in London, and marking a decade of Markus' international residency there. 

In the clubs this weekend, you can find Markus at NOTO in Philadelphia on Friday, before celebrating Cinco de Mayo at Gilt in Orlando on Saturday. So hope to see you at one of those, and if not, catch you again for another edition of the Global DJ Broadcast next weekk.
