when the opportunity came up to remix a record off @krane's LP, I agreed without hesitation. after getting the remix started at home, I went to the Dim Mak studios to crank out the rest.

instant inspiration is something that I find very difficult to capture and translate, yet after working in different environments for four straight days my original inspiration remained intact. this remix almost doubled the amount of individual tracks I've put into any project and I believe it embodies what I set out to create; something bigger.

it’s finally time for me to share the news 😝

well... I’m releasing solo music as ’Dahl’, and the first song comes out today.

this is something i’ve been experimenting with relentlessly over the past few years, trying to combine all of my influences in a way that really expresses who I am. 

about 6 months ago, I had gotten out of a relationship and felt the need to write about it. I sat in my room and didn’t leave until I had a song finished. My first single, “Think About Us” is the result of that day in my room.

I’m writing, singing, producing, and mixing all of this music. nobody else is touching these songs in ANY capacity. I want all of this music to feel like me, and nobody else.

I just want to clarify and say this is NOT the end of cheat codes and we are not slowing down at allll. this is just another way for me to release music and to let you guys in to my world. 

Kevi, Matt, and myself have always been supportive of releasing music individually.. we just honestly haven’t had much time the past 4 years to really sit down and do it 😂 

so anyways, I genuinely can’t wait to start this journey with you all. thanks for always listening.
