Hey lovelies! I hope everyone had a great entry into 2022!

It occurred to me that it's been a while since I shared a full set of mine so I thought new year = new set 🎶 

The name "Plava" is used in the Indian Panchang system (Hindu Calendar) from where each year has a name. 
The year 2019-20 was named ‘Vikari’, meaning "illness". 
The year 2020-21 was named ‘Sharvari’, meaning darkness. It's pretty safe to say that these previous years lived up to both of their names. 
Now the ‘Plava’ year (2021-22) - ‘Plava’ means, "that - which ferries us across". In other words a new beginning. 

It's now up to us how we want to define the time to come - Let's make the best out of it! <3

ALCHEMY CIRCLE @ The Swamp | MoDem Festival 2024

Dance is a Form of Active Meditation.                                                                                                                              Bu means "Dance," specifically the type of dance that is intentional, ceremonial, or expressive and Zen refers to direct experience, mindfulness, and meditation.  "Zen through Dance" implies a state of awareness achieved through movement. Where dance is not performance, but practice. Not spectacle, but presence.

In stillness, we meditate to observe the mind. In dance, we move to escape it. In a world saturated with noise, pressure, and constant thinking, dance offers something ancient and essential: a way back to the self. It is one of the oldest rituals known to humanity — not as performance, but as prayer in motion, as a form of active meditation.
The body awakens first. Repetitive rhythms quiet the mind, drawing your awareness inward. Thoughts become distant. Time stretches. What begins as movement becomes presence. You are no longer dancing to the music — the music is dancing through you.
