BIO:
Andrey Mikhailov, born in 1972 in Moscow, Russia and through the course of musically spiritual evolution became the founder and innovator of Abstract Records, Aethereal and ATEC imprints which span the dynamics of house, trance and tech house with a progressive feel. Along with creating the heavily relied upon Internet staple mixing and mastering studio option www.amstudio.pro, Andrey coincidently established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the art of presenting his beloved sub-culture of the progressive underground as a formidable DJ throughout the globe.

With a heart filled deeply with the underground in mind, he began his long journey during the 90’s which led into a deep understanding of what was piquing the interests of those looking for the sumptuous sounds of progressive music – tracks being sent out that were brimming with electronic experimentation and fervor which are now recognized as the ‘progressive underground movement’. His endless love of electronic music had been kindled through the likes of Underworld, The Shamen, 808 State, Bomb the Bass and The Orb, eventually growing into a consuming passion that caused Andrey to seek all means in captivating this feeling and sound that was so iconic to the embodiment of the scene at that time. With the mantra of peace, love and unity written across the pages of musical offerings that drove a sort of spiritual enlightenment to the masses during the hay-day of Gat Décor, Sasha and Digweed, and Deep Dish, Andrey eventually stole a foothold within the coveted scene developing a vast platform of original ideas which connected the past to the present, enveloping the passion and spirit that it encompassed.

From the start of 2000s he attributes his creativity to the style he would like to call Progressive Underground. He selects for his sets the hottest driving, melodic and neo progressive stuff full of trippy atmospheric shade mixed together with pumping club and delicate deep house temps.
