Modular Cafe

Sequenced in Live via Doepfer A-190-3. Lead sound from Makenoise STO, modulated (FM & "Shpe" controls) from MATHS. Pad from Serum.

STO Timbre Exploration

A sequence created entirely using Doepfer modules.
Sound: A-110-4 going into A-137-1 into A-101-2
LPG opened by A-142-4, A-137-1 modulated by A-143-9 running at audio rate via A-132-3. A-149-1 + A-149-2 creating some randomness. A-156 taming the randomness.
Sequence: A-176 > A-138m > A-151 > A-156

Doepfer West Coast Magic (featuring A-110-4 A-137 A-101-2)

A-143-4 provides the clock and three triangle oscillators. Fed into 3 x A-101-2 LPGs. Clock goes into A-160-2, A-160-1, A-149-2, A-162 triggering all four envelopes on an A-142-4. Around 1 minute I start adjusting the Common Frequency on A-143-4. Some interesting relationships emerge as all voices + tempo are tied to the same base frequency. EHX Cathedral provides the reverb.

Doepfer A-100 Polyrhythmic LPG Patch 30.08.2016

100% Doepfer A-100

Buchla inspired self-running modular patch based around 4 x Doepfer A-110-4 Thru Zero VCOs frequency modulating each other. Filters: A-103, A-101-2, A-105. Clocked by a frequency modulated A-143-4 quad LFO.

Reverb: Electro Harmonix Cathedral.
