Since their formation in 2003, St Albans quintet YOUR DEMISE have collided head-on with every hurdle you could imagine, and then some.

Equipment theft? Check. Multiple Line Up Changes? Check, and make that twelve. Motorway Breakdowns? You bet, including a time when the side tour of their tour van literally fell off in the fast lane of the M1. And as for the and then some - how about the 24 hours the members of Your Demise spent in solitary confinement in a Belgian Prison...

But are they still here, still hungry, and still going stronger than ever? Check, check and check again.

YOUR DEMISE's five year rise from humble beginnings in scout huts and youth clubs has not been a smooth ride, but its these very trials and tribulations that have scarred, defined and molded them into a feral form of energy, aggression and irrepressible ambition. And today, having laid the foundation of their sound on self-funded releases 'You Only Make Us Stronger' (2006, Mind Rugby) and 'The Blood Stays on the Blade E.P. (2008 TDON - 9/10 Rocksound; 7/10 NME; 4/5 Metal Hammer), Your Demise have created their ultimate statement of intent with new album 'Ignorance Never Dies', their debut with Visible Noise, scheduled for release 20th April 2009.

With the debut album, the band have refined their sound and fulfilled the potential that critics and fans alike have credited them with from the beginning. Expect elements from across the spectrum of heavy music, guest vocals (from Sam Carter, Architects), even drum and bass/dubstep, courtesy of producer Dylan, Jake23 and Culprate. This is the sound of a band making an album according to their own rules, taking it to the next level and making the music that must be made.

Having taken their heartstopping live shows up the length and breadth of the UK and Europe with everyone from Biohazard, Architects and Bury Your Dead to Comeback Kid, Emmure and Enter Shakari. Your Demise are ready to take their rightful place in the halls of the national elite and Ignorance Never Dies is their rousing call to arms, a visceral battering ram of dynamics and unrepentant fury.

Sashwat is a US-based DJ, producer, and label owner that has been pushing high quality bass music since 2007. He's played alongside Avicii, D. Ramirez, The Widdler, Commodo, Swindle, Antiserum, Roommate, Coki, Distance, Truth, Reid Speed, HULK, Goldie, DJ Marky, 6Blocc, AK1200, Hellfire Machina, DJ Kue, Sub Swara, Kraddy, and more. Sashwat's monthly mixes, which he's been releasing since 2007, have featured countless genres such as dubstep, garage, hip hop, dub/reggae, jazz, deep/progressive/electro house, trance, techno, breaks, downtempo, drum and bass, and goa-psychedelic. In 2009, these mixes began airing consistently on the Digitally Imported Drum & Bass channel until the launch of his Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz radio show in January of 2010, which coincided with the launch of the Digitally Imported Dubstep channel.

A year later, in December of 2010, Sashwat expanded his Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz radio show into a bass music label, focusing on a wide variety of forward-thinking sub-genres. The labels releases have received support from the likes of Skream, Funtcase, Downlink, Matty G, NumberNin6, Brown & Gammon, J:Kenzo, DJ Wonder, DJ Allbury, Distance, Von D, Eptic, Genetix, Riskotheque, LOST, and Mat The Alien, to name a few.

In 2012, Sashwat took on the role of Channel Director for Digitally Imported Dubstep and launched the Digitally Imported Liquid Dubstep channel. He hand-picks the content that airs on both channels, catering to thousands of listeners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Anthony Joseph Lanman is an active and passionate musician that divides his time between composing, performing, teaching and advocacy for new classical music.

As a composer, Anthony creates music that reaches general audiences as well as new music connoisseurs. Embracing influences that range from progressive rock and metal, to medieval and renaissance music, to jazz, to new classical, Anthony strives to create a sound that is his own. He has written for ensembles and soloists around the world.

Recent commissions include – E.G.S./A.J.L. for guitarist Matthew Cochran, Hear Us! for children’s choir and string ensemble commissioned by Otter Creek Middle School, Automaton – a concerto for 8-string electric guitar and percussion for Clocks In Motion, The Rag and Bone Shop – a song cycle for baritone and piano trio for Brian Lewis and David Small commissioned by the University of Texas Butler School of Music, Rush – a quartet commissioned by the Music Teacher’s National Association and the Indiana Music Teacher’s Association, Hommages for Piano, Book 2, for Holly Roadfeldt, and Damselfly – a duo for 8-string electric guitar and percussion for Kyle Lutes.

Anthony’s performing career began in high school while singing and playing electric guitar with his touring progressive band Canvas. His principle instrument changed to classical guitar during his undergraduate years at University of Texas at Austin where he studied with Adam Holzman. Through his graduate study at Indiana University he added renaissance lute and theorbo to his instrumental arsenal, studying with Nigel North. He has performed with the University of Texas New Music Ensemble, the University of Texas Early Music Ensemble, the Indiana University New Music Ensemble, the Indiana State University Wind Ensemble, and Clocks in Motion. He has also performed many concerts of solo and chamber music.

Anthony’s advocacy is life-long. In the nineties, he hosted a contemporary classical music radio show on KVRX in Austin, Texas. In the 21st century, he promoted fellow Indiana University composers through a web presence on Mp3.com (now defunct); created Guitar Heroes, a weekly presentation series in Second Life; and produced more than 100 episodes of his ongoing music-centric podcasts All the Cool Parts and the 1,000 Recordings Podcast. He has appeared as a guest on Soundnotion, Composer Quest, Classical Guitar Insider, Goes 2 Eleven, and The Portfolio Composer.  His new podcast 1 Track focuses on the music of the contemporary classical world.  In addition, he has exposed thousands of new listeners to contemporary classical composers by sharing this music to his more than 400,000 followers on Soundcloud.

Anthony has held several positions at multiple universities and colleges, as well as K-12 public schools. In 2016, he held an adjunct position at Butler University in addition to teaching choir and music at West Vigo Middle School. He holds a BM in composition from the University of Texas, and an MM and DM in composition from Indiana University.

Anthony currently resides in Bloomington, IN with his wife Jenna and their cats Silas and Bod.
