Since 1996, and its creation by Charles Farewell and Vincent Villuis, the French project ASURA  has polished a personal electronic universe sound, between psychedelic trance, Ambient and World music. In 1998, Christopher Maze joins the band and in 2000, Code Eternity is out, being the first album of Asura and Infinium Records (ex Ultimae Records). Vincent Villuis left the band in 2001, to concentrate on his new project, Aes Dana, and was replaced the same year by Alex Ackerman.
The second album, Lost Eden, was out in 2003.
Since July 2005, after the departure of Christopher Maze and Alex Ackerman, ASURA became a solo project, exclusively composed by Charles Farewell, co-founder of the project.
The third album, Life², was released on July 7, 2007, through Ultimae Records.
The fourth album, 360, was released on October 10, 2010, still through Ultimae Records.

Beyond the Veil is a collaboration with Amadora @Amadora available on "Feminine Medicine Vol. 1". Our intention was to create a piece of music that is both danceable and devotional that takes you into the place between worlds when you surrender into emptiness and step into frequency with the Goddess. Our alchemy was inspired by journeying on our path together as priestesses of the 13 Moons Mystery School. May this transmit beauty and ecstasy, the gifts available when we empty ourselves out enough to touch the other side.

About Feminine Medicine™
The Feminine Medicine™ project is a series of collaborative albums and stage shows I launched in 2015. Every song on the album is a collaboration between me and another female artist. 

I set out to co-create music that expresses a harmony of both masculine and feminine frequencies and that is both danceable and sacred with some of my favorite female artists. I believe this music shows how "feminine" melodic textures and vocals can integrate with traditionally "masculine" bass frequencies to create songs that are harmonically transcendent of any existing genre.  

For the past 2 years I have been writing, producing and performing the Feminine Medicine™ music, collaborating with over 30 female musicians, vocalists, and dancers to showcase stage shows at major festivals including Lucidity Festival, Beloved Festival, and Enchanted Forest Festival, with more to come this year. 

Artists showcased on upcoming volumes include: 
Heather Christie, Imagika Om, Liquid Love Drops, Ixchel Prisma, Amadora, Amma Li Grace of Entheo, HAANA, Tara Divina, Ali Kane, JemIneye, DJ Dakini, Amae Love, Aleksandra Dubov, and Kaia Ra. Artists set to be showcased on Feminine Medicine™ music so far include:

Volume 1 will be released Feb 2017. A remix album is scheduled for Summer 2017. Volume 2 is tentatively scheduled for early 2018.
