Burning Man 2023 - Strangelove - Wednesday

Here is a mix that took form as a journey through the playa into a white out dust storm. The rocketship art car I was DJing on had to stop and people on their own journeys made way to the art car more and more until there was a party around the whole ship and everyone dancing in the dust. Xenops Live@ Burning Man 2023 - Animalia

The heavy rain started in the late afternoon of the day before, on Friday. By Saturday morning the mud had rendered the playa nearly impassable, due to the consistency and depth of mud that formed. Most people stayed put in their camps once the rain started. We were already planning to have DJs on Friday, but when the rain set in we decided to keep the party going until there was no DJ left standing. This set was recorded towards the end of the 22-hour-long unbroken stretch of music we hosted in the bar.
