Let me wish you all a "Good Night" as I take you from driving Full-On, and dive into deeper, heavier, twilight, and night vibes.  This is a very different set from my usual sound - but was very fun to mix!  The mix starts at 145 bpm, and ends at a steady 150 bpm. I had a clear vision when beginning work on this track, I wanted the BPM to be increased - I chose 144bpm as I like the way the bassline rolls at this speed - the track was already in D# which is a powerful note for basslines to come across in a very imposing manner which suits my style perfectly.

As soon as I sat down and began to arrange the tune the structure manifested itself quite naturally - I wanted to keep the key elements of the original tune as the main driving force of the track - I used a lot of granular synthesis as well as gating and distortion to mangle some elements and make them into effects and riffs that remind of the original sound. 

I feel like what makes it unique is the power that comes through from the driving bassline, as well as the powerful building arrangement - it reaches it's peak in a timely and intense fashion.

The wubby styled sound worked perfectly into a little broken beat break in the middle of the track that throws a curveball - re-engages the listener and then throws them back into an epic build/crescendo.

I hope you really enjoyed the track - it was a pleasure to remix.

I finished another remix, Avalon & DJ Tristan's tune 'We are Psychedelic'!

The process was an interesting one, from the beginning I felt like I could write in a style that could be more appealing to the NANO RECORDS style so that I'd have more of a chance at coming out with recognition, but I decided to move against that and make something that was more suited to the style I want to express and explore at the moment. 

What I've ended up with is a Progressive Psytrance track, which is similar in style to the Ritmo Remix up on my Soundcloud. 
I've been experimenting with Triplet timing to create rhythmic variation across the track and to break the mould of what was becoming a rigid and default sound - it's ended up working very well.

It's a curious journey to be creative inside the box of a genre, as you obviously have some very strict rules you abide by to fall within a group... how to come out sounding unique here is a constant challenge, one that I'm still grappling with - I'm very aware that I don't want to sound typically Psytrance, but also admit that I'm actively deciding to make 'Psytrance' which is maybe some kind of paradox?

We are happy to present an amazing new ep from NagHammadi project called Mastaba! From the Mexican roots, these two artists began in the psytrance culture at a very young age.
The psytrance project ""NagHammadi"" takes its first steps in October 2019, playing at the ""Musical War Festival"" in the city of Puebla, having a very good reception from the audience and since then, penetrating the scene on the local site. With Mastaba EP and The Legacy Ep, and an upcoming release on the first and only album, the temple rises anywhere you hear the harmonics and melodies of its art. Tsuyoshi started to have another project called Sympathy In Chaos as compilation series and the event since 1997, this project is basically free-style psychedelic music and no need to have 4-4 beats and he is still doing it nowadays.
Sympathy In Chaos projects is also more collaborative with different types of artists such a name like ISSEY MIYAKE, and others.
So this DAT is from my first regular Sympathy In Chaos event in London in 1997. Free psychedelic mixed for 3hours!
