I'd like to tell you how this was recorded and go away.
I setoff promptly Sat am after another boring weeks wirk in eager anticipation of the forthcoming jam to collect Mr Rob Smith esq, after hanging about for rob to come round for a bit, the usual do you want a coffee mate, no i wanna get RUSTY I thought, hope that don't offend anybody at this sad time.
Well I had finally ensnared the best drummer and one of the best guitarist in Luton (or the world!)and was anxious to see what we could do with a little studio my mate had in his flat.
Bijou luxury is not a term I would use to describe it and neither would the encumbent Mr Steve
Brown whose equipment seemed to sing this one time after 4 years hard labour and agonising
over drum beats on a computer, I was actually drawing drums cos I didn't have a drummer. 
Till Rusty and I played.
Many people have played with Rusty and I know he loved them one and all the same as I have with everybody I ever "crossed swords with" and with technology as it is can still do.
This 1 track album is called "Jammin In Heaven"( just thought of it )the track is Jamboree which means "party" and this is the unadulerated off the peg on the day version that today I'm giving to anybody who wants it..Listen and enjoy.
Rusty's comment "I could be lying at Glastonbury listening to that."

Horrible Him

I wrote this traditional style jazz ballad in homage to all the jazz ballads that have influenced me as a saxophonist.  Gershwin's Someone to watch over me sung by Ella Fitzgerald comes to mind.

Hopefully that feel comes across, with clean guitar and Tenor sax I have kept it simple.  Though, I think it is crying out for vocals, so that version is on its way...

I want to believe

A dark, exploration into jazz, with rhythmic afro jazz inspired beats and lines.  Giving the tenor sax permission to explore its percussive voice, backed by clarinet and a double bass vibe throughout.

Depth of Delusion

Brass section led tune ode to Stevie Wonder.
A blend of Alto, Tenor saxes and Clarinet, with strong drum beat and funky bass line.  All played, written and recorded by yours truly.

A little doodle inspired by a fictional starship * carryhg different strands of humanity across the wick of the many worlds, using Logic Pro, Paul'Stretch and a couple of other things on iPad and Mac.

* in Neal Stephenson's 'Anathem', quite probably the book that I've read in the last 10, 15 years that has made the deepest, longest impression in me.
