Inspired by a particularly emotional sequence during an episode of Rick & Morty, I took to my DAW to lay down my own version of the background music and took the liberty of adding 2+ minutes of vaporwave / dance track to the end.  My interpolation of the "Sad Rick BackStory" music. Only in my version, he finds and kills the s##t out of Evil Rick and Evil Morty. Enjoy....      

P.S. I would absolutely love to score a sci-fi space themed movie or animation project one day. If you're making one, hit me up. ;)

The Death of Evil Morty (Rick's Crybaby Backstory and revenge)

A couple of years ago, while searching through Netflix for something to watch, we decided to try a Korean drama series. Since then we have spent many hours being entertained and moved by Korean tv and movies, often in genres that we would not normally go for (e.g. rom com's). The cover art and dialogue featured in this piece are from a Netflix trailer for Hometown Cha Cha Cha, a dreamy laid back romance set in a small seaside town. We won't spoil the plot by explaining the context or translating the dialogue, suffice to say it's very romantic.

I use a Behringer Crave, a TD3 and two Korg Volca Sample and Keys to create this song. One of my favorite tricks is to use the CV output of the TD3 to control the filter of the Crave. CV stands for control voltage, and it is a way of sending signals between different devices. It allows me to change the sound of the Crave with the TD3

There are forests on Earth that endure extreme winters, places where temperatures can reach up to -40/-50C.
They are called Taiga 
Plants and animals go into hibernation hoping they have stored enought nutrients to survive another extreme seasson.
A once thriving forest full of beauty, sounds and colours turn in to a deadly , almost lifeless , colourless and soundless frozen desert.
Life`s clock seems to slow down to a halt while hours turn to days , days turn to weeks and weeks turn to months.
Until the first sun rays strong enough to stop the ice and snow`s  deadly grip ,appear..
Like an explosion...Life`s clock speeds up while the forest heart beats faster and faster, the forest is awaking along with its inhabitants..
Spring returns ...Life begins ....again...
