George Morel broke new ground with his iconic track ‚Let’s Groove’ – defining a genre and a moment with his sound – a feat achieved by only a precious few. 
That was in 1992 – when techno & house was the new kid on the block. Now, 21 (!) years later we revisit this colossal track and fit it with some remixes, including one from the man himself.   Tom Trago, Claptone, Coyu and DJ T. and PBR Streetgang all take on the dinosaur and give it a new breath of life in 2013. 
The results are amazing, and even more so when we reflect on all that came between. An entire lifetime of music and celebration lead up to this point, and will continue long after – after all, it is the spirit of the music which never really dies.

The Crab Nebula is a supernova remnant and pulsar wind nebula in the constellation of Taurus. A supernova remnant is the structure resulting from the explosion of a star.  The bright light from the supernova explosion that formed the Crab Nebula was observed by Chinese, Japanese, and Arab astronomers in 1054 A.D. The light has since faded and the Crab Nebula is no longer visible without a telescope.  The name comes from William Parsons, 3rd Earl of Rosse, who observed the object in 1842 using a 36-inch telescope.  Lord Rosse named the nebula the "Crab" in 1844 because its tentacle-like structure resembled the legs of the crustacean.

“You’re My Beautiful” is a love song I wrote for my wife Emma, to mark three significant milestones in her life. First, I wanted to give her a unique and special gift from my heart in the form of a love song for her birthday.   Second, Emma took early retirement in August 2023 from academia and research and was a professor of epidemiology at Ontario Tech University (OTU) in Oshawa, Ontario. We have taught at various institutions together over the years including Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, University of Windsor and most recently at OTU. We were passionate about teaching; have both received teaching awards and have co-published five textbooks related to public health together over the years.  Emma has recently released her first fantasy novel (Emma P. Shan) entitled “Ozia: When the Sky Tore” and plans on writing additional novels. We have also worked not only as partners in marriage, but also in research related to various noncommunicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and dementia.  Third, Emma is a breast cancer survivor, and this December will mark the 10th anniversary of her victory over this deadly disease.

"You're My Beautiful" is a collaboration between myself and Stephen Wrench, who wrote this beautiful instrumental and did the acoustic guitar performance.  It also features 5 times nominated Grammy artist Molly Cherryholmes on violin. On January 8,  2024 it hit No. 1 on the Euro Indie Network Music ranking and was No. 1 World Indie Network Top 100 Music list. Stephen has been a 6x Grammy Awardee and has won over 50 Gold and Platinum records throughout his career journey that spans 5 decades now. Chapter 1: The Cosmic Rave
On the barren surface of the moon, where Earth hung like a distant memory, an alien named Zyrix set up his makeshift DJ booth. His elongated fingers caressed the holographic decks, summoning beats from the void. His eyes—iridescent and otherworldly—glowed with anticipation.

Around him, astronauts from various nations had shed their bulky spacesuits and COME TOGETHER IN PEACE. They wore luminous jumpsuits, their helmets replaced by futuristic visors. The lunar base had transformed into a dance floor—a sanctuary for the interstellar weary. They’d travelled light-years to escape gravity’s grip, and now they’d defy it in a different way.

Chapter 2: The Astral Crowd
Commander Elena Vega, a seasoned beautiful Ukranian astronaut with a penchant for bass, led the charge. Her silver hair floated around her head, and her visor displayed the pulsating BPM. She’d smuggled a pair of lunar gravity boots—an Earth relic—just for this occasion. Her heart raced, not from oxygen deprivation, but from anticipation.

Beside her, Dr. Raj Patel, the brilliant American astrophysicist, adjusted his spectacles. His equations had led them here—to the moon’s hidden side, where the cosmic veil was thin. He’d traded star charts for strobe lights, equations for beats. His mind buzzed with quantum possibilities.

And then there was Captain Yuri Petrov, the stoic cosmonaut from Russia. His stern expression softened as the bassline kicked in. He’d left behind vodka shots for zero-gravity spins. Tonight, he’d prove that music transcended borders.

Chapter 3: The Alien Mix
Zyrix, his grey skin shimmering under the lunar glow, spun tracks from distant galaxies. His headphones clung to his elongated skull, and his four arms danced in harmony. The astronauts swayed, their boots thumping on the regolith. The moon’s craters became their strobe lights.

The beat intensified—a fusion of pulsars and kick drums. Zyrix’s blue eyes locked onto Elena’s. She felt the pull—the gravity of the music, the gravity of connection. Dr. Patel calculated wormholes in his head, and Captain Petrov spun Elena in a lunar waltz.

Chapter 4: The Cosmic Drop
As the lunar dawn approached, Zyrix unleashed the final track—a wormhole anthem. The astronauts abandoned their boots, floating above the moon’s surface. The bassline vibrated their bones, their souls. Earth watched—a distant disco ball.

And then it happened—the drop. The astronauts merged—a constellation of limbs. Zyrix’s alien fingers brushed Elena’s, and they spun through spacetime. Dr. Patel laughed, equations forgotten. Captain Petrov twirled, his stern face cracking into a grin.

Chapter 5: Zero-Gravity Eternity
As the last note echoed across the lunar expanse, the astronauts clung to each other. Zyrix’s eyes held galaxies—the birth of stars, the collapse of black holes. Elena whispered, “We’re dancing on the edge of existence.”

And so, in the moon’s silent embrace, they became one—a cosmic rave, a Defcon 1 of unity. The alien, the astronauts, and the lunar beats merged—a pulsar pulse, a quantum leap. Earth watched, and for a moment, its troubles seemed light-years away.

In the dimly lit basement of an abandoned warehouse, the Project Blue Book unfolded—a clandestine gathering where extra-terrestrial beats collided with earthly souls.

Chapter 1: Alien Frequencies
The DJ booth stood like an altar, adorned with flickering LEDs and vintage synthesizers. The crowd—part ravers, part conspiracy theorists—swayed in anticipation. The alien, known simply as Zyx, manned the decks. His elongated fingers caressed the vinyl, summoning frequencies from distant galaxies.

Zyx wore headphones that clung to his bulbous head. His eyes, obsidian pools, scanned the room. He held a big blue book—the cosmic manifesto of sound. Its pages whispered secrets—the origins of techno, the pulse of the universe. Zyx was no stranger to Earth; he’d been studying our species for eons. Tonight, he’d share his findings.

Chapter 2: The Human Connection
To the left of Zyx stood Ethan, a mortal with a penchant for bass. His headphones were relics—an heirloom from his DJ father. Ethan’s leather jacket bore scars from countless raves, each tear a memory. He’d stumbled upon Zyx’s transmissions, deciphering them like cryptic codes.

Ethan’s eyes met Zyx’s. They spoke a universal language—the rhythm of heartbeat, the echo of kick drums. Together, they wove a sonic tapestry. Ethan’s mix of human beats merged seamlessly with Zyx’s alien frequencies. The crowd surged, lost in the interstellar groove.

Chapter 3: Afrobeat Ascension
To the right of Zyx danced Nia, the vixen with the afro-style hair. Her skin shimmered like stardust, her hips swayed like constellations. Nia was more than mortal; she was a conduit—a vessel for ancestral rhythms. Her ancestors had drummed under African skies, and now she channelled their energy.

Nia’s leather party gear clung to her curves. She’d come seeking answers—the cosmic truth hidden in Zyx’s vinyl. As the bassline intensified, Nia closed her eyes. She felt the pulse of her lineage—the beat of freedom fighters, the syncopation of rebellion. Her afro flared like a solar corona.

Chapter 4: Cosmic Revelation
The crowd reached a fever pitch. Zyx’s blue book glowed, its pages fluttering. Ethan’s mix became a wormhole, pulling everyone deeper. Nia’s dance transcended flesh and bone; she became a comet streaking across the dance floor.

And then it happened—the drop. Zyx unleashed a frequency unknown to Earth—a fusion of starlight and sub-bass. The crowd erupted, bodies dissolving into sound waves. The blue book pulsed, revealing the truth: We were all stardust, dancing to the same beat.

As dawn approached, Zyx faded into the shadows. Ethan and Nia exchanged knowing glances. They’d glimpsed the cosmic DJ’s purpose—to unite worlds through music. The Project Blue Book would continue, a secret society of beats, bridging galaxies.

And so, the alien, the mortal, and the vixen danced on—their souls entangled, their headphones echoing the cosmos. In the heart of the rave, they found communion—a celestial remix of existence.
