The Nearness of You 13_4_25

The Andy Bowie Quartet now play EVERY Sunday night at 7.30 (note slightly earlier time) at the Tram Depot (https://thetramcambridge.co.uk) in Cambridge (England), having played for many years nearly every Sunday in various Cambridge venues. I have played gigs with, among many others, Al Casey and Humphrey Lyttelton, and musicians like John Turville (who was London's jazz musician of the year) have been regulars in the band. We try to keep renewing our repertoire, and have occasional guests from the national and international jazz scene.
The Quartet does gigs for functions, etc., and have played at events with Will and Kate, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, in attendance. We have played for years, too, at Lord Rees, the Astronomer Royal's, Midsummer Dinner, and for social events at numerous academic conferences.
