The Comedowns are from Napier New Zealand and have had number of songs on various radio stations and have performed in  Canada, Japan, USA, Australia and New Zealand. After performing at the APRA Silver Scroll awards they recorded The 2008 EP ‘For Your Pain’ at Neil Finn's Roundhead Studios in Auckland with Neil Baldock.
 "Laps around the antenna in the sky" was recorded at The Lab with Oliver Harmer (Naked And Famous)from which Sushi king featured on the KFC BIG Bash T20. Cricket on channel 10.
They are currently based in Melbourne.

Born from serendipitous chance encounters, and shared passions, Long White Clouds emerged onto the indie rock scene in 2009. The band's name, inspired by the Māori name for New Zealand, Aotearoa, meaning "The Land of the Long White Cloud," reflects the diverse origins and the blending of cultures within the group. The four-piece band is composed of Andrew James Burch, the lead vocalist and guitarist hailing from Napier (New Zealand), Nicola Lazzaroni and Matteo Pansa, childhood friends from Bergamo (Italy), on guitar and bass/backing vocals respectively, and Mike Ehlert on drums, who joined the ranks from Minnesota (USA) in 2022, bringing a fresh dynamic to the band's rhythm section.
Fueled by late-night jam sessions and boundless creativity, Long White Clouds quickly found their groove, blending infectious melodies with electronic experimentation. Their music, characterized by heartfelt lyrics, compelling melodies, and robust rhythms, embodies the spirit of indie rock while also infusing it with their unique perspectives and experiences. 
In 2020, they released the EP "Everyone around here looks angry," a 4-track treat that includes "1+1=1", "Shane says", "Dreaming about you" and "Shivers". The songs capture a range of emotions, from introspection to defiance, embodying the band's ability to navigate complex emotional territories with ease and authenticity.
The upcoming, much awaited LP "Aeroplanes", recorded during two sessions in 2023 with producers Riccardo Zamboni and Federico Laini and set for release in 2024 under the label Edonè Dischi, promises to be a significant milestone in their career, offering a more refined and expansive exploration of their sound. "Aeroplanes" not only marks the culmination of years of growth and experimentation but also a new beginning for Long White Clouds as they embark into the skies on new musical journeys.
