Chevy One's Whip It Up is getting the remix treatment here and we've got two very nice ones for you to choose from. The Specimen A Remix is a crisp and clean peaktime breakbeat banger that melds the original vocal into a reimagined synth bassline and lead stack. Precision vocal and drum edits help sculpt this track into a thing of beauty. Andy Faze gives Whip It Up a psy-breaks overhaul with a chugging static bassline and an array of squelchy acid synths and spaced-out effects to zone out to along the way.

Dear Friends, I'm totally psyched to be sharing this mix with you.  In the last year I've been (almost) all over the world performing, introducing people to this sound. The response has been overwhelming, and it seems like every new gig I travel to now has an even more electric atmosphere than the last. I've always been highly selective of the music I play, in an effort to define something new and distinct, and I feel now that this style is getting the recognition it deserves. 

So it's not often I do a mix, and this time I really wanted to showcase the state of the art of psychedelic tech-funk. All of us understand the connection between the inner and material world. Every thought forms a visible reality, and the external manifestations of existence, creates an impulse to reflect upon it. In any case, a person always has a choice: to fill the world with himself, or to try to grasp a sweet part of this material world. Each of these worlds has relative boundaries in the frame of knowledge, but understanding yourself, as a piece of a whole, creates favorable conditions in which the individual can evolve. The world is open to those who are open to the world. 

> The opening work of Kawatin is naughty breakbeat, submerged in the dark depths of Tokyo style. Hirotaka specifically expresses his perception of the world - in submission and tranquility. That is how the story of the "Inner World" EP opens.

Andy Tappin is a DJ, Producer, Scientist and avid electronic music lover of over 15 years on the scene. Spinning everything from House, Techno & Trance, Andy has honed his craft into Breakbeat! Over the last 5 years Andy has established himself as a respected producer & DJ in the scene with over 50 releases, on more than 15 international, leading & influential record labels.

His progressive style and consistant slick production with-in the modern day Psybreaks sound, has earned him great respect and many fans. Many of Andy's releases have reached the top 100 charts in all major download stores and many of them reaching the top 50!

Andy has performed at various clubs and festivals here in the UK, across Europe, and has graced the same stages and nights with legendary acts such as - Eat Static, Cosmosis, The Orb, Green Nuns of the Revolution, System 7, Liquid Ross, Astralasia, Transglobal Underground, OOOD, Hedflux and Guadi to name a few. 

He helps run Sub Element Recordings, which was voted best new label in 2014 at - Breakspoll (The International Breakbeat Awards). Andy was also nominated for an award in 2013 along with DJ Fastbinder for best radio show (Future Breakz Live). Andy now runs his own Psybreaks podcast (Elements), which has gained over 20,000 subscribers (in just 18 months), welcomed massive support, and is growing each day!
