Artist, songwriter, and producer, Eric Zayne’s sound is as unique as his background. Eric was raised in the Congo, but was suddenly evacuated to Montreal as a child without his family when a civil war erupted. As a refugee in Montreal and out of contact with his family, Eric found solace and connection through music, dedicating himself to multiple instruments and learning how to sing, write and produce. Exposed to the musical tastes of his older brother from an early age – Prince, Stevie Wonder, Beethoven and James Brown – Eric set out to find his own voice, evolving a blend of funk, rock, soul and electronic.
