VENCE ROMANCE - Obscur Pressentiment

This is Simone Segouin, also known by her nom de guerre Nicole Minet, is a former French Resistance fighter who served in the Francs-tireurs et partisans group. Among her first acts of resistance was stealing a bicycle from a German female military messenger, which she then used to help carry messages. She went on to take part in large-scale or otherwise perilous missions, such as capturing German troops, derailing trains, and acts of sabotage. Simone is the inspiration for this track. a resistance fighter against the Nazis at just 17 years old.

Have you ever wondered what sitting on a ray of light traveling through the universe after the big bang feels like? Well, Einstein has. He claims this to be the underlying question of his quantum theory, embracing the fascinating idea of multiple time dimension. Always intrigued by this idea, Vienna based dream pop trio Lucy Dreams have created a musical homage to it with their latest single Levels. The voyage into this world was undertaken together with the Italian singer Frida Bollani Magoni. Her unique voice on top of the bands’ atmospheric track has become the ray of light on which you are invited to travel.

Jinx - Solace (Nightflyer Mix)

The lyrics of the electronic song "I'm so free" are about being at peace with yourself! If other people encourage you in this, so much  the better. The message is supported by the relaxed electronic instrumentation. The rough guitar riffs and the arpeggiator set an exciting counterpoint and the lascivious sample vocals round off the track. The song is inspired by a hit single by the Eurythmics. Do you know which one?
