David Stanley is a singer and lyricist from Tameside, Greater Manchester, known for his emotionally honest songwriting and melodic, alt-pop sensibility.

Inspired by The Beatles Anthology at age 15, David's musical journey began with a love for classic '60s rock, drawing influence from legends like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Kinks. That foundation expanded through the Britpop era, where bands like Oasis and The Verve helped shape his sound and fuel his passion to pursue music seriously.

David first emerged on the Manchester music scene fronting indie rock outfit Circus Paradise, followed by a stint leading Savalis during his time at Trafford College. After college, he hit the pub circuit, performing rock covers across Greater Manchester and refining his skills as a live performer.

After stepping away from music for over a decade to focus on personal growth and well-being, David is now back, refreshed, inspired, and more creatively open than ever.

David has been co-writing a new wave of alternative pop songs with Greek Producer/DJ Andreas Polydoros (aka Sonic Figures, NYC), bringing a fresh edge to his classic roots. He’s also teamed up with Leeds-based songwriter Kristian Mason to further explore layered, emotionally rich alt-pop, with an emphasis on strong melodies and meaningful lyrics.

David's work has been featured on Tameside Radio, RGM, Amazing Radio, Your Tameside, and Tameside Reporter. He's performed at some of Manchester's most iconic venues, including Band On The Wall, Night & Day Cafe, The Roadhouse, and The Witchwood.

Whether it's writing, recording, or performing, David brings authenticity and heart to everything he does. With new music on the horizon, he's focused on sharing songs that connect, and creating moments that matter.
