Da Terra Meiga is translated into English as “from the witches’ land.” This land, located in the northwest of Spain, is called Galicia; and is from there that Da Terra Meiga comes bringing their original work. The first album of this music group, Guitar and Voice, was recorded in Albuquerque, NM. Very far from their homes, Ruben Cortiñas and Laura Cruz worked together in order to get a very fresh set of original songs in Galician (original Galicia’s language). Finishing this first album has been a boost for the band to base their style as Galician Folk Fusion.

Chicago based composer/producer Hawk Dobbins has written, produced and performed music with various acts including Lokk Boxx, Niche, and Trans Atlantic Crush. As a multi-instrumentalist Hawk likes to disappear for days on end in his basement to compose new songs from start to finish. His production work is typically characterized by signature bass synth sounds, driving machine beats, fused with big guitars riffs and straight forward live drums. The style of music emanating from his work ranges from Synth Pop, to Alt-Rock to Industrial.
