This one’s personal. It came from that quiet kind of deadness that creeps in when you stop expecting warmth. The kind of numb that pretends to be peace because at least it doesn’t hurt. I lived there for years, telling myself I was fine, that this was just how it was supposed to feel when you grow up and stop believing in spark.

Then someone reached through all that frost and reminded me what skin felt like. What connection actually does to a person when it’s real. This song is about that moment when the body wakes up again, when the pulse finally remembers it has a purpose.

It’s not about sex or romance so much as resurrection. That moment when you stop surviving and start living again, even if it scares you.
