Despite an affiliation with Aus Music, much due to his remix of Sei A's 'Make It Work' at the tail end of last year, Breach has never released any original material on Will Saul's label. 

That comes to an end later this month though, releasing the 'Artis' EP, following a whirlwind 2013 which saw him put one foot inside the mainstream with 'Jack', before serving up another catchy house number with 'Everything You Never Had (We Had It All)'.

Here with mix #7 for Outlook 2014, we are pleased to deliver this special mix, recorded by My Nu Leng. The Bristol based duo, James Irving and Tommy Jackson have a hard-to-categorise sound, drawing on many varied influences without kowtowing to one in particular. Whilst traversing the whole spectrum between pitch shifted vocals and bass heavy rumbles, their sound is always deep and on point with the vibe. 
With further support coming from Radio 1, 1Xtra, Rinse FM, KissFM and tastemakers including Mistajam, Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank, Cameo and more, My Nu Leng build on their crash into the public consciousness with a mix of hollow styled synths and infectious bass lines.

DJ Q is at the forefront of the UK Garage scene as one of its leading DJ’s & Producers. He joined extra in 2004 as a DJ to host the UKG Mixshow and has since been invited as a guest on Radio One with ‘The Essential Mix’, Trevor Nelson’s Saturday show, a mini mix for Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, The Review Show with Nihal, Mary Anne Hobbs, Mistajam & Pete Tong’s ‘In New Music We Trust’. 
Q released his 1st vinyl, ‘Love Like This (The Reasons)’ a massive Bass Music hit, along with ‘Tea Bag’, ‘Dirty’ & later ‘You Wot!’ (Ministry of Sound). 2008 saw Q hit mainstream success with remix credits to his name such as Amy Winehouse, Dizzy Rascal, H20 feat Platnum, Keri Hilson & Katy B amongst many more. Q has also remixed & worked with the likes of Rusko, Toddla T & Shola Ama, Boy Better Know. 
Q consistently tours around the world including Croatia for this year's Outlook Festival.

Two years on from his last release for the label highly rated Italian producer Pirupa is back tearing it up at Saved Towers once again. His three-track EP dives straight into dark, underground tech-house that bristles with the kind of intense atmosphere that has made his tunes such bona fide floor destroyers over the last few years.

“Wise” is built around a sense of urgency and momentum, garnered through relentlessly stabbing basslines, elongated pads, alarm-like melodies and weighty drums. Tension builds throughout the track, tittering on the edge but never spilling over into chaos, preferring instead to revel in the murky, paranoid swirls of uncertainty.

“Can You Hear Me” is once again full of compulsion and drive, but this time comes with a fresh injection of swing. Its deep bassline sways wildly, throwing the groove into an intoxicating whirlwind as chopped-up synths swoon across the top to add the addictive hook that keeps the track ploughing forward so powerfully. “Sunrain” is all about the intricate, chiming melodies that Pirupa masterfully manages to interplay not just with each other, but also with the cylindrical beats that tumble away in the bottom end. All three tracks are fueling the fires of a distinctive producer who consistently churns out music with bags of personality.

House hit makers MOTHER RECORDINGS are back with another tight two track package. This one comes from the label boss NHAN SOLO, a real house talent with plenty of great singles and EPs in his back catalogue, most often on his own great label.

Opening the release is SHOW ME LOVE, a deep and groovy number with nice piano chords rolling over slick house groove. Power female vocal add fuel and emotion to the fire and the whole thing really casts a spell on you.

BROTHERS KEEPERS is on the flip and is another kicking house tune with sleek metallic drums, great percussive tension with smart kills and filters, and clipped vocals that inject real warmth and soul. Both cuts carry on in this Berlin based producer’s fine tradition and are sure to get plenty of dance floors on their toes in the coming months.
