Recorded @ DJJD Studio's using drum, bass and keyboard lead loops. I performed all synth pads chords on my Arturia MiniLab mkII.

Cloudscape

This experimental house track, locked in at 130 BPM, fuses industrial edge with dancefloor energy. The groove kicks off with a steady, driving rhythm underpinned by a four-on-the-floor kick, layered with a shimmering lattice of metallic percussive elements—think processed steel hits, resonant pipe clangs, and granular textures that feel like machines learning to groove.

Over this mechanical rhythm, a warm and unexpectedly emotional chord progression emerges—lush, slightly dissonant synth stabs that loop with hypnotic charm, creating a striking contrast between the cold industrial textures and a soulful harmonic core.

As the track builds, filtered arpeggios, glitchy vocal chops, and high-end metallic risers push the tension upward. Then comes the drop: a moment of silence followed by a crushing return—tight, distorted basslines lock in with the kick, and the metallic percussion hits harder, sharper. The original chords return too, now modulated and warped, giving the drop a sense of evolution and intensity.

I am a producer of Ambient, Experimental, and Minimal Tech House, incorporating touches of Progressive Melodies within my unique style and sound.

Since the '80s, I've been exploring the language of electronic sound. Using original samples, synths, and sequencers, I build rhythms and textures that speak from deep within. Each track is a reflection of constant experimentation, a process that began with techno, goa, breakbeats, and IDM, and continues to evolve.
For me, music is more than sound; it’s a spiritual voice. A way to express what words can’t reach. Through groove, tone, and texture, I tell stories meant to resonate beyond the surface.

Modestino DM wie er mit bürgerlichem Namen heisst, wurde
1976 in Basel im Monat des Scorpions geboren.

Rhythmus war schon immer ein Thema doch klein Mo interessierte sich eigentlich nur für das runde Leder. Das Breaken oder Beatboxen in den Anfängen des Hip Hops bekamen nur kurze Aufmerksamkeit von ihm geschenkt. 
Um ein Instrument zu lernen war er zu ungeduldig und zu hibbelig.
Mo’s Schwestern spielten ja schon Instrumente und da Mädchen in dem Alter noch doof sind war Fussballspielen einfach die coolere Sache🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏻😂😂😂

2 schwere Verletzungen im Knie zwangenihn dann allerdings sich Gedanken über ein neues Hobby zu machen.

Da sein Jugendfreund „MasterJack“ mit dem er gerade eine Wohnung teilte,  2 Mks und ein Mischpult aufgebaut hatte fing Mo an ein wenig zu üben und schon bald folgten die ersten Gig‘s. Erst in Basel dann in anderen Kantonen und  am Ende durfte er auch Auftritte in Deutschland, Frankreich Österreich, Ungarn und bis nach Ibiza in seiner Vita notieren.

Als die ganze Digitalisierung anfing und Dj’s wie Pilze aus dem Boden schossen war Mo’s Knie dabei sich zu beschweren so dass er nicht mehr auf dem Bau arbeiten konnte. Weil die Iv auch Studiengänge unterstützt packte Mo die Chance auf Weiterbildung und beschloss ein Studium zu beginnen.
Da Mo aber gerne feiert und dabei seine Grenzen weit ausgedehnt hat lag die Entscheidung auf der Hand die Weekends mit lernen zu füllen anstatt mit männlichen Katzen…🤪😵‍💫🤪 also verschenkte er fast all seine Platten und mied regelrecht das nachtleben.

Per Zufall kam Mo Jahre später zu einem Mixer mit CD und USB Port und merkte dass zwar das digitale Mixen viel einfacher ist, aber auch dass man bei den Übergängen und während der Stücke viel mehr Möglichkeiten hat, die es trotzdem
noch anspruchsvoll machen.
