Originally hailing from the musical heartlands of Swansea, Melbourne & Stoke, the three members of Meekers were drawn to Bath through a mutual love of seagulls and expensive pubs. Named as George Clooney's least favourite band they play a blend of garage punk rock yet to be seen at a professional level. In a recent interview with Railway Modeller they explained their sound, "If it feels like we're rushing, it's because we're trying to play as much as we can before Katie Hopkins dies, after that we'll just be too emotional." Picture the Osmonds through a blender....now close your ears and watch...I mean eyes and listen.

I was a founder member of the Karmatosed Sound System that ran a legendary night called Decompression around Hertfordshire and London in the 1990’s. I played out mostly techno but also Jungle / D&B, breaks and chill out stuff. I started making beats with a best mate on a knackered Atari, cubase v1.5 and some basic hardware and we released one techno / breakbeat/ proto drum and bass 12’ as Aengen which got airplay from Carl Cox and Laurent Garnier amongst others. This was probably my 15 minutes of fame and we did a number of live sets at the time in and around London and got interest from the music press at the time. After our club night burnt to the ground, literally, I moved to Leeds and did my own thing releasing a few CD’s through local record shops in Leeds. In recent times I've rediscovered DJing, mainly in Leeds but also playing at small festivals across the country. Brand new Anglo-American psyche-rock band from London formed in 2022. We took the name from a 100 years of the magic-bullet theory. Our Centennial EP was recorded at The Albion Rooms, and filmmaker Sam Rowland shot the video for Centennial at Brixton Hill Studios.
