Tha_Guts is a musician and multi-instrumentalist brazilian producer and label manager at dsrptv rec. His interest for the sound narratives as a means of finding stories in the mixture and the clash between layers, gave rise to his first records. Musically, his sonority has as main characteristics the collages, samplers and loops of organic and electronic beats, focusing mainly on the creation of abstract narratives based on different sound perspectives. With releases by labels Gop Tun, Tropical Twista Records, Massa Records, Sonido Trópico, Cocada Music, Goma Rec, Kindisch and dsrptv rec.

//Was bedeutet deine Musik für dich?//
Genau genommen ist es ja gar nicht meine Musik – und das macht das Auflegen und Diggen für mich so wahnsinnig spannend und schön. Durch Musik fühle ich mich mit Menschen verbunden, die ich noch nie getroffen habe. Musik zeigt etwas vom Inneren – zumindest ist das die Musik, die ich feier. Wenn eine Emotion musikalisch beschrieben werden kann oder Musik eine Emotion hervorruft, das ist einfach das Wunderbarste auf der ganzen Welt. Und ich versuche das beim Auflegen auch umzusetzen – die Tanzenden mitzunehmen in meine Welt, sie zu verführen, anzustiften zum Loslassen und ihnen vielleicht sogar die eine oder andere Träne in die Augen zu treiben. 

//Woher nimmst du deine Inspiration?((
Ich folge auf Bandcamp, Spotify und Beatport bestimmt über 1000 verschiedenen Artists und hunderten Labels und höre täglich neue Musik – manchmal viele Stunden lang. Vor Gigs durchwühle ich auch die Bibliothek meiner Lieblingslabels und ein paar Promos bekomme ich mittlerweile auch. Bei meinen Erkundungen lasse ich mich von einer Frage leiten: Catcht mich das, was ich höre, auf Anhieb oder nicht? Ansonsten lege ich auch super gerne mit anderen auf oder tanze zu ihren Sets – dann renne ich regelmäßig ans Pult und mache Fotos von den Tracks.

//Was muss sich deiner Meinung nach an der Szene ändern?//
In letzter Zeit habe ich mich vermehrt damit auseinandergesetzt, welche Rolle FLINTA* in den Bereichen Musikproduktion bzw. als Livemusiker*innen spielen. Dabei ist mir bewusst geworden, dass extrem vieles, was ich als DJ "konsumiere", von Cis-Dudes hergestellt wird. Es ist geile Musik, aber ich wünsche mir, dass viel mehr FLINTA* in der elektronischen Musikproduktion und in der Livemusik vertreten sind. Es gibt ein paar weibliche Producer, die haben so ein krasses Oeuvre, eine ganz eigene Stimme, einen eigenen Style – und ich will mehr davon. Ich nenne hier mal die Producer Marie W. Anders, Ela Minus, QRTR (beide im Mix zu finden), Shero, SUCHI, TOKiMONSTA, Octo Octa...

Aber Hallo ist ja schon wieder 1 Tag vor Weihnachten --- war nicht gerade erst Sommer. Aber ich wäre ja nicht der Elektro Uwe wenn ich es nicht schon geahnt hätte. Deswegen gibt es auch dieses Jahr ganz selbstverständlich wieder ein kleines Xmas Special Schmankerl für eure Ohren. Wie jedes Jahr suche ich mir hierzu immer einen ganz besonderen Künstler/in aus meiner Sammlung von DJs aus … folgende Eigenschaften sollte dieser dann haben: bisschen verrückt, ungewöhnlichen Musikgeschmack und in keine Schublade passen … weder quer noch längs. Und für dieses Jahr hab ich da einen langjährigen Weggefährten ausgewählt … Daensen von der drosssel-Gang aus Berlin erfüllt alle Anforderung für ein schönes Kontrastprogramm zu White Christmas und Plätzchen und lässt euch garantiert in den Leerlauf-Modus kommen.

Nun wünsche ich meinen geneigten Hörern, Follower, Freunden und allen Menschen eine ruhige und besinnliche Zeit

Inspiré du mouvement romantique du XIXe siècle, ANecDote utilise la musique comme des mots lui permettant de dresser au plus juste le tableau d’un état d’âme.

Le dépaysement, l’inconnu, l’amour, le rêve et la nostalgie du temps présent sont des éléments qu’ANecDote cherche à synthétiser de manière cathartique par le biais de la musique électronique.

Désormais habitant à Paris, ANecDote fonde Association d'Idées à But Récréatif, une agence de conseil en événementiel axée sur le concept de la sérendipité.

Grand gagnant du tremplin RIFFX en septembre 2020, il a eu la chance de mixer sur le haut du donjon du Château de Vincennes.

ANecDote is a musical project born in January 2018, during a transformative trip to Ireland between his two years of master’s degree at Toulouse Business School.

Inspired by 19th century romanticism, ANecDote uses music to express the essence of who he is and his state of mind.

Transporting the listener to new spaces, the unknown, love, the dream and nostalgia of present time are elements that ANecDote aims to bring together through his music. 

In Paris, ANecDote created, in January 2020, the Association d’Idées à But Récréatif, an event management consultancy promoting serendipity as its core concept.

Winner of the ‘tremplin RIFFX’ in September 2020, he was offered to play a live-streamed mix at the top of the picturesque Vincennes castle dungeon.
