Hello there Listeners,

Here's another 'rough and ready' improv with my Saturna Island friend ilio. Thankfully, we captured it on our ZOOM mic while improvising a few weeks ago. 😉

It's full of heart, passion, rhythmic content and emergent melodies, and tells a story.  But we'll leave the storyline up to your Imagination. 

That said, from our vantage point, it's a whole other kinda Gypsy music! 😊

I wrote this song back in 2020 awhile after my long time friend unexpectedly passed away. She was an extremely talented artist and dancer and always encouraged me with my music. We chased our dreams together. I've had this song on my heart, and did this live take tonight. First take. Did the best I could. I hope you enjoy the song, and whoever out there that has lost a close friend, I'm so sorry. You'll see them again one day!  I dedicate this song to my dear friend Danielle..."Dani" And that's the actual letter and coffee cup in the picture that's referenced in the song. Letter was from 2008.  My first name is Daniel, Colter is my middle by the way.   Thanks for listening!

but also one of "a creepy mermaid" when my song "Daisy" aired on the show... Would you agree?
