My name is Craft and this week we present Spectralband from London in the UK.

He started mixing in 1993 and after 15 years as a solo artist he joined forces with his long-time friends to form The Clairvoyants. They hosted a regular show on London’s Rinse FM from 2008-2013. They played underground Techno and featured guests from the scene which attracted a worldwide following. After leaving Rinse FM, Spectralband went on to set up his own online radio station called Seance Radio. He was running a record shop, producing tracks and decided to set up his own Spectralband record label in 2013. 

But right now with this great set it’s time to Feed The Raver. Enjoy!”

Bio:
Spectralband from London, UK started mixing in 1993.  After many years working as a solo artist joined forces with two long-time friends in 2007 to form The Clairvoyants.     The Clairvoyants held a regular show on London’s Rinse 106.8 FM from 2008-2013 right through the transition from pirate to legal radio station playing underground Techno and featured guests from the Techno scene which attracted a worldwide following and were even cited by some as being influential to them as Techno / UK Bass music artists and playing a pivotal role in bringing Techno to new audiences and making it popular again in the UK especially London…

After leaving Rinse, Spectralband went on to set up an online radio station, Seance Radio. 
Having experienced many facets of the music industry including running a record shop and producing, in 2013 he decided to set up his own Spectralband record label.

An intense journey straight to the dancefloor, 'Mental Influences' our 6th release, a purpose of sound therapy made by 16 artists splitted on 14 tracks including 2 collaborations.

Marking its 50th release, Skryptöm records’ label head, Electric Rescue, has invited a list of exceptional artists that have inspired and shaped the label’s sound since day one, to contribute to this anniversary compilation. With this project, Electric Rescue aims to cover all aspects of techno as expressed by the early pioneers like Scan X to the new generation’s talent like K.U.S.S. 

Gathering Generations represents all the sounds that someone could listen to on Skryptom since its first release, from Deep to Banging Techno, from Ambient to Electro. Rrose, Umwelt, Amotik, Anechoic are some of the artists who took on remix duties on tracks taken from Electric Rescue’s recent Esquisse du Nouveau Monde album while this fantastic package gets completed with five special collaborations by Electric Rescue with Zadig, Scan X, Joton, Dyspal, and KUSS. Collectively, these 12  tracks constitute Skryptom’s representative sound throughout the years.
