In Justice Brown's song "Crimson" I use reference to the emotional and 
physical pain brought on by societal obstacles and horrors to display the influence and effect on an individuals life while using the beauty of the Gospel to create an answer for the struggle of oppression. Constantly in are culture we talk about some of the most horrible times so casually that a goal in this song is to put myself in the shoes of the people in these events and openly portray my gruesome thoughts. My Coptic Church is a song about the strength of the Coptic Church since its establishment by St. Mark, the Apostle of Christ. Our Lord has never left His Church and His Church has never left her Orthodox faith, given to us by Jesus Christ Himself. Through the blood of the courageous martyrs, the suffering of the confessors, the diligence of the fathers, and the faithfulness of the believers, the Coptic Church holds fast the traditional and essential dogma that Christ intended for the whole world. We hold fast to this precious gem and guard it with our lives through God’s evident grace and care for His Church.

My Coptic Church

“Resurrection” tries to convey the reality of our victory over weakness, sin, and death through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection. Amid life’s struggles and troughs, it can be easy to lose sight of this fact and how in His resurrection, we rise daily from the depths of the darkness that surrounds us. His resurrection is alive in us today—now, and for this reason the lyrics emphasize “gives” and “makes” in the present. By His death He abolished death, and in His resurrection we experience new life. We preach His resurrection when we shine as lights in His glorious triumph, and we await our final resurrection when we will be forever surrounded by and engulfed in this exuberant, incomprehensible glory.
