Track of the Day: Lex & Wood x Dead Space “Steamboat Willy”

But not only that, it's brand new and fresh. And how could we possibly do that better than simply doing and telling the story with music? 

Here is a chapter one:
A while ago I met Wally Tale in a Tally Weijl and we figured out that traditional techno music is nice but it also became in its repetition and strict traditionalism a bit boring. At least for us long-time producers. And also, it seems that the youth feels a bit off the hook as well and is way more into playful, open and surprising music. So we figured there are so many possibilities on the dancefloor. Not only that bored producer souls want to feel excitement again, the crowd wants it too!
Soon after, we hacked together this nice little bombshell as a starter. 
There is much more to come from Wally Tale in the close future.

Gabriel Ananda - Brummer (feat. Wally Tale)

Parisian artist Point G is set to deliver a new remix compilation across three parts this March, April and May 2019, featuring interpretations from an array of esteemed producers close to him.
DJ Gregory aka Point G has long been a respected figure in house music, releasing music and DJing since the 90’s under various guises, Point G being the more contemporary alias with a focus on a rawer, more stripped- back aesthetic. Here we see the Point G back- catalogue revisited with fresh reworks from some of France’s finest in House and Techno, as well as good friend and Berlin’s queen of House, Beste Modus co-founder Cinthie.
Across the project there’s the vintage sounds of DJ Steaw and Cinthie’s drum-led remixes through to more crunchy, synth-driven takes from D’Julz and Leo Pol sat alongside the airy ethereal, jazz-tinged feels of Hugo LX and Flabaire’s remixes.
Pauline T takes a more direct Techno approach with her take on ‘Blackjack’ via mind being arpeggios and choppy, ever-evolgin drums, DJ Deep opts for a similarly dynamic feel with his solo rework, while the Sergie Rezza remix, an alias of his and Roman Poncet’s, delves into the more abstract courtesy of smoothly unfolding, organic drums, enchanting atmospherics and wandering subs.

Point G ‘Remixed By’ features an all-star cast and every remix choice has payed justice to many of the choice cuts from the Point G back catalogue.
